"This was by far the worst meal we have ever had from Cracker Barrel. The Homestyle Chicken breasts were no bigger than a regular tender .. they used to be so big you would need to take one home. When biting into the breasts, they were hard as a rock, as if they had been sitting around all afternoon; despite this, they were very chewy and rubbery inside. I ordered steak fries and carrots with mine, only to get cole slaw with actual leafs of cabbage, not shredded. The fries were adequate but cold. My wife ordered hash brown casserole, in which she said wasn't bad, though it seemed to be burnt on top. By far the worse experience we have had."

"The Tilapia Veracruzana was wonderful. There were two large fillets, seasoned perfectly, with slightly spicy chipotle sauce drizzled on top. The vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower, and squash were tender and seasoned, not bland. There was also a perfect portion of Mexican rice cooked to perfection. I used a flour Tortillas (3) and took some of the fish, rice, and vegetables and added a few Jalapeños and made fish tacos with my left overs. This dish is large enough to share or make two meals.
