Also, they must get the wings from the Elves of Mordor; these are the smallest wings I've seen outside a 10lb bag of frozen Walmart discount wings. If you've made it this far, order somewhere else and avoid the frustration. Other restaurants will get your order correct. Other restaurants know how to properly package up delivery orders. We tried different sauces, and I thought the "Saucy Honey" would be kind of sweet (and it was), but although it was very tasty, it was also very "saucy"! Lol! I can't do food with a "kick", so be warned that this one has some "sass" to it. The flavor was great, but it was more than my poor little stomach could handle. We also tried the BBQ one, and it was good as well.
We ordered the Boneless & the Bone-In versions...both were very good. Although I prefer the boneless, gluten-free peeps need to avoid this one, because it has a delicious coating that I'm sure is not safe for us. (Of course. I ate it anyway & regretted it later.) The bone-in doesn't have any breaded coating that I could tell, so depending on which flavor you order, you may be okay with this version. All-in-all we had a great experience for our first time ordering from The Saucy Hen. "

"Food is so good!! I got Fried Chicken with Mac an cheese, rice and gravy, and collards. Which were all excellent. Came with a cornbread muffin which was super moist and perfect for the collards. Also got the banana pudding which was really good too. I have no criticism for the food, but I will offer the restaurant the suggestion of putting some sort of seal around the meal, and on the drinks. I dont think my driver would mess with it, but you also dont know for sure. And you can never be too sanitary. They make stickers, that are cheap and a good investment. Over all, this place has excellent food and the price is so good too!! Would recommend."
