I also ordered a couple of specialty slices—the Baked Ziti Slice had the perfect ratio of ziti to crust. The crust maintained its structural integrity, which meant I could eat like a slice without dumping half of it into my lap. I also really enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken Slice - the pepper wasn't the usual Frank's red hot, but it had a homemade flavor. Finally, the Garlic Knots were some of my fav. "We got a Sicilian pie, half meatball, Garlic Knots (6 per order), and French Fries. It looked like it may have been a regular Sicilian Pie that had already been made earlier that they added cheese and meatballs to one side and reheated. It was dry, bland, and one of the worst pizzas we've ever had. The garlic knots were also hard to chew and small. The fries were just okay, which was fine from a pizzeria, but they looked much better in the product photo. I've gotten pasta dishes here in the past that were delicious, but this was incredibly off-putting. We definitely won't be ordering at this location again."

My daughter who can't eat dairy can be pretty picky so I wasn't sure how she would like the meal. Of course there was no reason to worry. The chicken fingers were really good. Hot, great taste, cooked perfectly and was portioned just right but what I was even more impressed with were the fries. Fries can easily go wrong and in my home everyone can be quite snobby. These were perfectly cooked. They were hot, seasoned tasty, and cooked absolutely perfect not burnt or soggy like some places and priced more than fair at $10 for fries and chicken fingers."

"Okay, it wasn't bad, but it wasnt good, either. Stuffed Meat Slice was just a slice of meat pizza with some pizza dough folded over the top. It tasted fine, but if I were trying to have a friend from out of town try stuffed pizza, this would be a terrible representation. Buffalo Chicken Slice was fine, very dry, chicken was suuuuper dry. The Caesar Salad with grilled chicken was also fine, but for almost $20, a terrible value. The dressing didn't taste like Caesar, it had no Parmesan that I could taste or see, and it was really bland, which for real caesar is pretty hard to accomplish. There was a generous amount of grilled chicken ontop, but it was also extremely dry and had little to no flavor. Overall edible, but worth about half what I paid for it and not what I expected quality-wise. "

Portion size you say? Well Large Grandma's Pizza lives up to its name. 24 slices! This isn't one or the other either. It is both MASSIVE and DELICIOUS.
The Meatball Parm Hero goes beyond fresh. Let it be known I took a large "sample bite" prior to the photos. Wow. Genuinely blown away. Meatballs are gigantic and that homemade sauce is authentic Italian at its finest.

This is a 10/10 old school Italian restaurant all around. This isn't just a pizzeria. This is a true old fashioned Italian restaurant.
The Large Grandma's Pizza is ideal for parties or family get togethers. The Meatball Parm Hero is the best I've had on Long Island and I HIGHLY recommend giving it a shot if you love meatballs. Zero complaints.
Bella Roma gets an A++ from me and I will be back for more 😋"
