"My order was ready when promised. I pulled up to the drive through window asked the lady if she could repackage the burritos into two bags as we weren't going to be eating the burritos together. She didn't complain or bat an eye. She repackaged them and put salsas in each bag and handed them back to me. I appreciated this. Each burrito was clearly marked so I could separate them easily. Mine was fully loaded and I ate half for breakfast and lunch and my friend had my other half for her breakfast the next day. My dad has a bigger appetite and ate his whole burrito, but it took him all day. They were delicious and packed full. Each one had potatoes, eggs, cheese, and meat all throughout the entire huge burrito evenly distributed. It was one of the best breakfast burritos I've had in a long time. "i get the same thing every time, smothered fries with chile verde and cheese (sometimes no cheese if i'm watching myself) and they never fail. i've been to this establishment since they opened, and from what i've been told from my mom, i've been an addict since i was 5 years old by eating smothered burritos from other familiar places like La frontera or La Puente. This location is my favorite because the spice they put in the verde has a really delicious kick. It's my go to and you're getting an experience worth much more than what you pay for. "The meat on the Carne Asada Taco and the Al Pastor Taco was good and a good portion.
One of the 2 issues I had was that there weren't any other toppings on the tacos.
Just meat and one corn tortilla. The other issue is that should use 2 tortillas per taco so that they hold together better. At over $5 per taco, I think that they can afford to use 2 tortillas per taco.
I just ended up eating the meat out of the tinfoil because the tortilla fell apart as soon as I picked it up.
The only thing I asked them not to put on the tacos was cheese, but I wanted all of the rest of the toppings that go on them, including the salsa.
So I'm not sure where the wires got crossed on that, but I'm willing to give them another try because the meat was pretty good. I'm curious to see what their tacos taste like with all of the toppings on them."

The kids meal used to include rice, chips & pico but now it's only a quesadilla(smaller than it used to be), orange slice & sour cream --- all while charging the same price or more than they did previously. The drink was larger than expected but it tasted really watered down & bitter for some reason. The salad seems smaller too with less lettuce & meat. I'm very disappointed. Also I order a tamal de Rajas but honestly it was disappointing, it barely had any filling , I was basically eating masa and I'm not sure if the tamales are fresh because they tasted like store bought tamales. "Let me say, Alberto's downtown is the tastiest late night Taqueria-style spot in SLC Valley! Alberto's is noticeably fresher and more flavorful than Betos or Rancheritos. I ordered the #11 Chile Verde plate and a Steak Breakfast Burrito. Muy Bueno!! so good!
They're a bit far from South Valley but they've got a long reach for delivery, and the food was just as smokin hot when it arrived had it come from just down the street.
The packaging when it arrived was very impressive. I love the brown paper bag, with the protective seal gluing the two sides together for protection! Very cool. No more staples or scotch tape. It took a bit of muscle to tear the top part of the bag open, but I loved that knowing there was no way anyone was inside that bag before it left the restaurant and it arrived on my doorstep.
