About 10 minutes before my window of time for delivery came, I got a text message from the driver (April Smith) letting me know the store ("BR") did not have the flavor that I requested. I replied to April to get what they had but to let the store know that I was NOT happy about the last-minute change. When April got to BR she asked to speak with a manager. I unfortunately did not get the manager's name (because he deserves some credit as well!) but he personally began getting my order together for her, with the flavors originally ordered. I was excited to try this place because I was expecting something similar to Egg Tuck, but it was honestly disappointing.
For $18.50, I expected a much better sandwich. The eggs lacked that rich, creamy texture that makes Korean-style egg sandwiches so good. If you’ve had Egg Tuck before, you know exactly what I’m talking about. These just tasted like plain scrambled eggs.
The sauce was decent, but it wasn’t enough to make up for everything else. I also paid $4 for hash browns, and they came out completely unseasoned. A little salt would have gone a long way.
