"Always on point! You can't buy a T-bone for $16 in the market. Never mind the home made potatoes and veggie scewer. Perfectly seasoned and prepared. "If you're used to this restaurant being on Rt 450, please note they're now located inside the Grande Mart. I drive to the wrong location by mistake the other day. "I tried the Chicken or Pork Adobo and paid $18 for what ended up being about six pieces of pork with a small side of rice. The portion felt a bit underwhelming for the price, especially with how small the rice serving was.
As for the pork itself, it wasn’t as tender as I expected from adobo—it was a bit tough and didn’t really have that melt-in-your-mouth texture you usually want. I ended up adding some of my own shrimp egg foo young gravy to it, and that honestly made a big difference in the flavor.
Overall, this dish didn’t quite hit for me, and I wouldn’t order the pork adobo again. That said, I’m still open to trying something else on the menu and giving them another shot to redeem themselves."
