I've had this soup at other Thai restaurants, and in my opinion, Cravin Thai's is in the top 3, spicy, but not overwhelming and the ingredients in the broth are distinct, but work together in perfect harmony! The last dish we had was the Pad See-ew. It was for sure a really good dish, with the only drawback being the chicken was a little dry, but I think it's because I chose it as an additional ingredient, one of many options you can request to enhance the dish. "A while back, my favorite taco place closed in NY, and I just couldn't find another place I liked as much. This is now my new Tacos place. Super flavorful and actually packed with the filling. "Food was well portioned and delicious, albeit very expensive for traditional Mexican food. The Enchilada Red or Green was really good, I did ask for spicy but they must not have looked at the request.
The Flautitas were tasty but not worth $16 even with the rice and beans. The Traditional Burrito was huge, but again - not worth $18 without at least a side of chips or something to attempt to justify the price. One thing I would is that they mention that their Burrito is not a handheld burrito, as it's covered in melted cheese. It's definitely overkill. Maybe knock the price down a few dollars and save the cheese on top.
I enjoy having some local Mexican restaurants that cook traditional style food, but I fear their prices may be their undoing in the long run.
