"I've ordered from here so many times over the last 3 or 4 years, from different locations, and literally almost every time they don't put the pomegranate molasses sauce (the thing that makes it different from similar restaurants) on the wrap. I always order it on the side because of this, and sometimes they forget that too, even with me adding an order note asking them to please not forget it in the wrap, or on the side. Tonight's Shawarma Mix wraps didn't have the pomegranate sauce OR the garlic sauce (which they've forgotten once before). Those are listed ingredients, not extras. The meat was dry and chewy tonight, and the moisture in the wrap came from watery lettuce and tomatoes...some water dripped out of the wrap when I first picked it up. You can see in the photo that there's no sauce, a few limp wisps of lettuce, and about two pieces each of turnip and tomato. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I've finally had enough. How is it so difficult to put the same 5 ingredients in a wrap? I understand a place having an off night, but almost every single time?? I'm sadly not surprised their rating isn't very good because I'm sure I'm not the only one having this experience."

"Hands down the very best Middle Eastern platter I've ever had. I'm someone who loves big, bold flavours and a kick of spice to her food, and this hits all the marks.
The bed of rice was perfectly cooked, with a buttery hint for flavour. There were very generous portions of lamb and chicken, seasoned generously and incredibly succulent.
I topped mine off with the white sauce and the hot sauce, which perfectly complemented the meats. The depth of smoky flavour and the bold kick in the hot sauce make it clear that this is not your run-of-the-mill bottled premade sauce. I very genuinely believe this is a house-made sauce, and the quality shines through.
Overall, for the portion sizes and flavour that you get, this price point is a steal.

"Tried this place out after my usual halal place suffered a deterioration in quality. Shah's is a top-tier restaurant not only by halal standards but for cuisine in general. Portions are great, meat is delicious (the chicken moreso, but the lamb is still tasty), they give a generous amount of hummus/chick peas/beans, and they even give you a nice surprise treat to top it all off. "For years I been eating at this location because it's the closest one but every time I order something is missing or it's costing $15 for bread with one slice of meat and does not add cheese it's like the employer tells them to put one slice of meat and no cheese on all delivery orders then when you go there they always have a sign on the door that says bathroom break be back in 15 minutes I walked away so many times because just the word bathroom break makes it very unappealing to eat there I will be ordering firehouse subs it's the same price but with more meat that tastes a lot fresher"
