"I grew up Slovak and there is a similar dish called Speidis that we would have for holidays and when we went to my maternal grandparents. It can be made at home but a lot of work so this allows me to think about my good memories without all the work and taking up a lot of the fridge and going to find a grill! My only down is having to call in and talk with them as I prefer just the rice as my side so wish they would make that another choice as a side (then I get about twice as much rice). The sauce is something the Slovaks don't have and it makes a great extra to an already good sandwich. Last year I treated a bunch of friends to them for my birthday (did catering but had to pick it up) and they were hooked. The gyros are huge (it makes 2+ meals for me) and well worth the price. Trying the custard tonight. Try it and you'll be hooked!"
