This month, I’ve been making an effort to support small businesses because I’ve been disappointed by the customer service at so many large corporations. Tonight was my first order, and it was for my sister, who is pregnant with triplets.
I don’t expect perfection, and they happened to be out of macaroni and cheese (which honestly tells me the food must be amazing because it sold out!). Summer, one of the employees, contacted me right away to let me know they had just served the last of it. She even offered to make an entirely new pan if I wanted some, explaining it would only be about a 30-minute wait. Keep in mind, they only had about an hour left before closing! That level of customer service was incredibly thoughtful and truly went above and beyond.
I don’t like inconveniencing people, and neither does my sister, so Summer also gave us several alternatives to choose from. Realistically, restaurants run out of popular items, and that’s completely understandable. We decided on collard greens instead.
I mentioned that the meal was for my sister, who is pregnant with triplets and due any day now. Since she hasn’t gone into labor yet, her doctors are still allowing her to eat. As a sweet surprise, they included an extra side of candied yams. When I arrived to pick up the order, everyone was just as kind. They congratulated us on the three new additions who will soon be joining our family, and they genuinely shared in our excitement.

To be honest, i wish i could get a full refund. not only was the value bad.... but i paid nearly $50 for a small container of ribtips and a smaller container of baked beans. The food was ok. baked beans tasted like Bush's with a hint of brown or white sugar. not too sweet but nothing we haven't had before.
Rib tips tasted ok. Tender but it's the value that I'm pissed about. i could have gone to Famous Dave's and got way more food for the dollar i spent here. Go get your bbq from a place you're already familiar with. This place is not worth it. Bad Portions. I would not order again."

The Choice Breakfast Tacos,Heavenly Potatoes,5 pc Boneless Chicken Tenders (grilled) were a 10/10. The Cornbread Waffle, chicken bacon , Red Beans and Rice ,Collard Greens and Eggs were all great. Portion sizes were good as well. We'd definitely order from here again."
