Nice flavor (very oniony) ,not your typical Wonton Soup as it looks creamy as you can see by the photo. The wontons are large and flavorful. I would get this again, but if you're looking for traditional Wonton Soup soup, this would not be for you .

the chicken was very chewy and overcooked, couldn't get it down without gagging. the sauce was watery thin with no flavor. almost threw up.

I can't wait to prepare the recipes from Peter Fang's daughter's cookbook back home! I've been going to this fabulous restaurant since 1990! There used to be a long line wrapping for blocks! Every time I'm back in San Francisco, after moving away 25 years ago, I excitedly and happily visit and they even remember me (because I used to live across the street, often angering the long lines because I'd call for carry out and people thought I was cutting in line)! I've not had anything on the menu that wasn't tasty, but what I crave are their fried onion cakes and the Nanking chicken. Thank you House of Nanking for >30 years of excellence!
