"I got the Club with a Caesar salad and an Arnold Palmer. As always, this place absolutely delivers in this picture. It does not do the club justice. I noticed it looked a little burnt, but it's not at all. It's perfect. I have never had an issue ordering from here. They have always been on point every time not to mention so delicious. The only two things I can say is I wish they gave you an option to add an additional dressing to the salad. These meals are huge. I usually split it into two so half for dinner and half for lunch at work the next day and it's hard to split the dressing into two also, I wish they had an option for no ice. Only because I have extremely sensitive teeth when it comes to cold things. I do have to say though now that it's summer, it doesn't take long for the ice to melt so I just wait and it's even better because it's not too sweet. If you have not tried their sandwiches, you were seriously missing out. Their other food is good too, but their sandwiches are where it's at either way. I've never been disappointed."

I’m usually not a smash burger fan, but this is exactly the kind of burger that should be smashed. Every flavor blends together perfectly.
The homemade peanut butter was incredible. I’d buy a bucket of it if they sold one. The bacon was thick, smoky, and somehow still perfectly crisp without tasting burnt—a rare accomplishment. The potato bun was the softest bun I’ve ever had, and the entire burger was rich, indulgent, and honestly large enough that some people could split it.
Now for the story behind this review.
Yesterday I ordered from them and had an awful DoorDash experience. I waited over two hours while watching the driver circle my neighborhood. My wife’s sandwich eventually arrived looking like it had been pulled out of the trash, and my burger never arrived at all.
Today I called the cart and spoke with the chef. He couldn’t have handled it better. He was genuinely empathetic, took ownership of making things right, and immediately went into problem-solving mode. He even banned that Dasher from delivering for the cart in the future, included a complimentary order of their café fries with my order, and left me a handwritten note letting me know that driver would no longer be doing business with them.
Then, after the food arrived, the chef personally called to make sure everything had worked out.
That is customer service.
It’s easy to judge a business when everything goes perfectly. The real test is how they respond when something goes wrong. Milwuakie Cafe Cart absolutely nailed it.
If this burger was this good after delivery, I can’t imagine how incredible it is fresh off the grill. It’s officially on my list of Portland-area must-tries."
