"The food was good, but the portion size were very small. Especially for $20 my Lasagna (Meat or Spinach) had very little noodles pretty much only meat and cheese. And the Chicken Alfredo also had a small amount of noddles plenty of chicken but it felt life a quarter of the noodles. Unfortunately I won't be back as with how expensive it is for a small dish, it's just not worth it."

The lettuce was super fresh and crisp, which sadly doesn't always happen at other restaurants. Popcorn Shrimp were crunchy and delicious. Garlic Shrimp Scampi was perfect and came with plenty of lemon wedges on the side. The Baked Potato is perfectly cooked, oiled and salted on outside and came with lots of butter and sour cream on the side. Half Dozen Cheddar Bay Biscuits® were amazing as always. "Originally, I lived in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area and I pretty much lived on (mostly chocolate) Water Ice. But, when I moved here and mentioned "water ice" to the southern NC natives, no one knew what I was talking about! Until I introduced them to Rita's, and they told me they called it "Italian Ice".
Anyhow, when the Rita's in AVL unfortunately closed down, I was heart broken.
However, soon after I noticed Jeremiah's on a food delivery app and decided to give it a chance.
At first, I fell into the old trope by judging a book by its cover. I thought there was no way Jeremiah's Chocolate water ice (or for you WNC readers, "Italian Ice") would be on par with Rita's.
I soon would be eating those words, along with many of Jeremiah's Chocolate Quart Italian Ice.
I'm in love, I never had a chocolate water ice that had chocolate chips come standard. Usually it would be an added topping one would pay extra for.
It is by far the most delicious thing I've ever eaten. And now I am a Jeremiah's regular. Ordering 2-3 quarts a month (at the very least).
