"We tried to order Starbird Chicken once before, but apparently every road in town had decided to become a demolition derby at the exact same time. Accidents everywhere. Traffic chaos. Our chicken dreams were tragically postponed.
But the next night, we gave it another shot — and I am very happy to report that Starbird did not disappoint.
This is easily some of the best chicken I’ve had in a long time. The flavor is excellent, the coating is perfect, and the whole thing tastes like someone actually cared instead of just throwing a bird in a fryer and hoping for the best. Crispy, seasoned, juicy — all the things chicken is supposed to be but too often isn’t.
And the fries? Amazing. The aioli sauce? Dangerous. The truffle fries? Stupid good. Like, “why are fries allowed to be this good?” good.
After the first failed attempt, I was half expecting the universe to keep us from this chicken for a reason. Turns out the reason was just to build suspense.
