"Tikka Masala was the most "tomato-y" I've had, and the rice was delicious. Naan's cooked very well. I've tried many Tikka Masala's from similar restaurants in the Des Moines are, and this was my favorite. Definitely coming back."
"First time trying this place and theTikka Boti was really flavorful and came woth a good portion of chicken, a little salad, and some rice. This was some of the best Chicken Tikka Masala I've had in Des Moines. Everything would've been perfect except unfortunately I found a few small chicken bones in the Tikka Masala. I will still definitely order from here again because it was delicious and I have leftovers for tomorrow. :)"

"I ordered the goat pulao and pulihora dosa—absolute perfection. The dosa was heaven, crispy and flavorful, and the chutneys were insanely good. The goat pulao was cooked to perfection, with tender meat and beautifully balanced spices that made every bite comforting and rich. Truly a delicious, satisfying meal. Can’t wait to order again!"
"Fourth time ordering the Goat Pulav, and once again — they did not disappoint! The flavors are consistently on point. The rice is fragrant and perfectly seasoned, and the goat is cooked to tender perfection, rich with authentic spices in every bite. You can really tell they take pride in maintaining quality and taste every single time. It’s rare to find a place that stays this consistent. Definitely one of my go-to spots for amazing, flavorful food! 🔥👌"

"This is the best Indian food in town. Not only is the food made fresh and with love, the customer service is exceptional. I placed a catering order for my company event recently and not only the owner gave a great pricing, they offered to set it up for free. Awesome family owned business. This is my goto spot for great fresh food."
"food came nicely and warm. However, quantity/portion has gone down since they first opened. flavour wasn't truly there for the food. Overall was a disappointed meal.
Goat Curry was very small for such a price. Asked to get extra spicy. Doesn't seem to be any different.
Paneer Tikka was extremely dry. The Paneer was like rubber. Non sponginess that you get from typical paneer. They were burnt. Green pepper weren't. very small portion for such price point.
Mango Lassi was good as always.
Naan was a mess. some burnt worse than other. about 50% of the 2 naans were just crunchy like crackers... what!!!
Tandoori Roti was moist and good."

"This place will wow you! The flavor, portions and price were all perfect. The General Tsao's Chicken is not as sweet and syrupy as you get at other places. It's also fried hard. Both of those were pluses for me. Most people can probably tolerate a 3 spice level. I prefer the 4. Every element of the Combination Fried Rice was well prepared. The beef was not that gray chewy stuff you get other places. It was beautifully seared and flavorful. The shrimp were larger than average and not overcooked. They were well seasoned too. Do yourself a favor and try this place."
"Best Chinese food in the metro! Was devastated when Shang Yuen switched ownership but so happy the family recipes live on through Heavenly! The beef is so tender! The chicken so crispy! The rice so fluffy! Deep, well balanced flavors. Everything we've had has been so delicious and we have high standards for Asian food being an Asian household.

"Tried the Pineapple Luau Slider Single for the first time... I nearly cried. The meat was literally perfect, it wasn't over-filled, and not stacked high with filler. And the flavor! "Always love getting the Dinner Grill Meal! Arrives hot and fresh like literally off the grill! Always delicious and never a complaint! Serving size is perfect! Hu Hot is delicious!"
"I've ordered from here a few times, and I think from now on, I will only go in person. (1) When you ask for chew mein as a topping, don't expect to get "3" of anything. I bet I had 15 pieces of crunchy noodles. I always get the same for 3 as for 1 serving. I asked for "2" of the water chestnuts (you can pick 8 items). I might have 2 partial water chestnuts in the entire container. Asked for "2" of the bamboo shoots- I have zero. My styrofoam to go container was about 1/3 full. Almost no meat in it. It's been not great at times, but this is by far the worst meal I've ever received. It's so weird that it tastes like nothing but celery and peppers... you can't tell there is anything else in it. Just- not good. I won't be dashing it again.
I did order the chicken strips and fries, and those were good, but definitely not enough ketchup in the little cup for everything.
The crab rangoons were good, but again- one cup of sauce for 7 rangoons? The cup is 2 tablespoons. Come on.
I feel like I got $7 worth of edible food for $50. :-("

"10/10 recommend getting food from here!! It was all absolutely delicious! Lots of flavor! And very nice portion sizes! I enjoyed the Two Protein Bowl- Large Size Only with teryaki chicken and orange chicken and only broccoli for veggies. I also got some Crab Rangoons on the side and they were amazing too!! Everything is so fresh and yummy!"
"We've tried the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, Orange Chicken Bowl and both are delicious! Also tried the chicken breast teiyaki and teriyaki steak on a prior order and enjoyed those as well. This is our new favorite spot! Food is always fresh and hot and the containers they package the food in are very nice for the leftovers if you end up having any.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! "

"My girlfriend and I tried this place for the first time tonight and the highest compliment that I can give it is. we're already looking forward to ordering it again. I would most highly recommend the wings (which have the perfect level of crunch), the cheese balls which are slightly sweet, and the French fries which have a really unique seasoning. Everything that we tasted on the menu was delicious though! Food arrived hot and fresh! Combo (Wings & Drums) Korean Cheese Ball Seasoned Fries"
"First time trying and wings are delicious! very nice crunch on the outside, inside cooked perfectly. I got the soy garlic - excellent flavor. I wish I had a side of it as a sauce to dip in. Also did not realize that by the size small: 4 wings, 2 drums - that it was two regular size legs, nice surprise! will order again "

"It still tasted good but it was weird. The burrito was about 4 inches long. Like it was rolled up normally the turned and rolled up again. It was very odd and difficult and messy to eat. "
"The taste is always amazing and beats out the competition. The portion sizes are perfect and they don't skimp out. The freshness of the food always amazes me. I would order this again and again. The steak is always cooked so perfectly! Great job"

"my first visit to this restaurant and I was flabbergasted! it was great for the price! Taste was wonderful... I have to say best egg roll ever!"
"Food quality? Mediocre. Ordered two bowl combos, one sesame, one orange. When we went to grab our food, we realized that both bowls were the exact same, and we couldn't tell what the sauce tasted like. Zero sesame seeds, and not a hint of any orange flavoring.
As for the portion sizes, if you're going to charge out the wazoo for your food, at least give people enough food to make sure they're full.
The Bao was probably the best part of the entire meal, and I'm fairly certain they come frozen.
Don't waste your money, get literally anything else besides this place."

"Excellent!!!! Arrived hot and ready to eat. The sweet corn with my added salt is wondrous!!! Ribs just right, tators excellent andi ordered extra corn muffin. I paid extra coup dollars to have expedited delivery. Enough for another meal!! "
"Tiny meat portions do no warrant paying extra for the meat. I ordered the 2 meat combo (burnt ends & brisket), and both required an extra $1.19. Well, I received 5 small pieces of burnt ends and 3 slices of brisket that were not even full pieces. They looked like end pieces that were shorter and thinner. The Mac & Cheese seemed to be missing the cheese. This place isn't what it used to be. I ordered the same thing last week and it was better, so it seems to be a one off. However, not sure I will bother when there are many options."

"My favorite Mexican restaurant in Ankeny. The food is always delicious and you get a lot of food for the price. The California Burrito is huge."
"I was sad when our favorite Mexican restaurant on the north side closed. But I am so glad I found Hernandez's. I order door dash lunch from here at least once a week. I have never been disappointed. The food is flavorful and has a nice sized portion for the lunch menu. The packaging is always perfect and it includes chips and salsa and plastic ware. Most importantly, my meal has always been prepared correctly - even with my goofy modifications. Hernandez's for the WIN!"
