"Delivery was fairly quick and I really appreciated that as sometimes sushi isn't that great when it sits for too long. I ordered a California Roll which was simple and delicious. It's hard to mess up that roll. Perfect amount of filling in the rolls. I also got a Rainbow Roll which is one of my favorite rolls. I usually like to add shrimp tempura in it as well, but this time decided to try it without it and it was great. Fresh fish taste and again, great amount of filling. Would order here again to try more sushi. "
"This is my new favorite sushi place!(D)Three Items Combo was huge! Soup and salad plus rice. The sushi was very fresh and delicious. The tempora was not greasy - nice and crispy!

"I'm have a huge nostalgia for croquettes and curry, the combination is just perfect! I do wish you were given more than 1 croquette...
The croquette is seasoned very well and the bits of corn add a subtle sweetness that I love! The portion of rice, curry, and cabbage is pretty generous and I'd say it’s worth the price.
The curry sauce is good, the umami is there, but there's a slight sour/tart(?) taste that I don't quite care for. However, paired with the croquette and cabbage is just soooo delicious!
Now, if Curry Hyuga could just fix their packaging for takeout, I'd definitely be a happier camper. Their packaging ALWAYS leaks and more than 3 times I've had to make a complaint for partial refunds. One time, it leaked ALL of the curry sauce and you can't have curry rice without curry!
Anyways, long story short, I would order this dish again! "
"tried the Chicken Katsu Curry it was very delicious and worth the price for its portion. the curry was very rich and flavorful the spice amount was just right. the dome egg is also worth to add on top too! I'll def drop by again in the future :)"

"The way that Sarku Japan DOES NOT MISS! I have been ordering from Sarku Japan this past week repeatedly because of how delicious, well-balanced, and sensational this meal is. Firstly, the way they package it so carefully and thoughtful, warms my heart. You don't even need to ask for utensils or sauce, they anticipate the need. Secondly, the veggies, the meat, and the rice...wow. I would say, finger licking good! I clean out the bento box. Lastly, it's a wonder portion size for what you pay for, I will usually have left overs that I gladly enjoy later. Thank you, Sarku Japan!"
"The CHICKEN TERIYAKI with fried rice was soooo delicious!! Adding hot sauce and the teriyaki sauce made the CHICKEN TERIYAKI taste 100000x better. You do get a good portion of food!! They served a lot of chicken and it was just amazing. The VEGETABLE SPRING ROLL tasted amazing and it was fresh!! Some restaurants have their spring rolls under a heat lamp for hours but Sarkus was still hot and fresh!! Would definitely order again."

"Absolutely AMAZING! My partner and I both got the TONKOTSU UDON DELUXE* and it is honestly some of the best Tonkotsu I have ever had. It's incredibly flavorful, I definitely recommend getting the cold noodles and putting it together at home so the udon doesn't get too broth-logged. I never write reviews but we can't wait to go to them in person for our next date night too!!! "
"TAKOYAKI (5pc)* was great and the Mini Beef Donburi* is the best donburi I've had in the states that's closest to beef bowls in Japan. the beef is thin, cooked perfectly and melts in your mouth i'd say pair it with a poached/soft boiled egg and it'll be the best meal of your week!"

"Came in solo tonight and had a great time. Ask for Audrey — she’s the goat. Super friendly, and when they suggested some add-ons she was honest about what was actually worth it instead of just pushing extras. The udon and ramen are really good on their own too. Definitely coming back."
"Amazing udon, great staff, and excellent service.
Udon is and continues to be delicious. I had the Kitsune Udon with shrimp and zucchini tempuras. From the first time to now, it's still delicious. Udon is cooked to perfection. Broth is flavorful enough, but I had the staff add scallions to enrich the flavor.
Shrimp and zucchini tempuras complimented my meal. Both had crunchy exteriors but very tender on the inside. Food has been delicious each time which is why I continue to go back when I'm in the mood for udon.
Staff was great. They were attentive and made sure they got my order right. Staff was also very friendly and professional when they served me.
Service was excellent. I did not have to wait that long before I was helped with my order. Once my order was complete, the cashier asked if I had everything I needed, to which I said yes. Transaction was completed and he thanked me for dining with them.
Thank you everyone for continuing to make my visit great each time. Keep up the excellent job and Happy Thanksgiving"

"Sometimes it's a hit-and-miss ordering from this place but today the Kimchi Beef Pepper Rice tastes fantastic and the Miso Soup is nice too:)"
"So the taste of the Deep Fried Gyoza was good, they steam in the box a bit but the edges are crunchy. The Spicy Garlic Beef Pepper Rice spice rating for someone who likes heat it's a medium level, but if you are sensitive it will be hot. My low rating is because the beef was inedible. It was chewy and stringy and grainy in texture. It was cut against the grain which made it harder to eat and there were like stringy tendons or whatever all throughout it. The portion was big but I gagged on it and spit it out. I wouldn't order beef again. The rice itself tasted good. It has the smoky char taste from how it's cooked. The Deep Fried Gyoza were definitely freshly fried upon order and in good oil not old. The Dr Pepper was good. Larger than I expected."

"Unfortunately, it seems that this store has pivoted to serving Ramen instead of Udon. RIP to the best Udon store and one of the best noodle places in the area. I'll miss the delightful oxtail soup and the quality and taste of the dishes.

"Five stars for the quality of the food and the portion. I eat a lot and often times I still feel hungry after finishing the entire portion. However, I am very satisfied with the portion of this place. "
"The steak was tough, chewy and fair. I stopped eating midway because of the quality. The portion is good for 2 people however, the freshness of the meat felt like it was sitting in the freezer for a while. You can definitely taste the flavor of the garlic but after eating midway the oils started to feel heavy. I've been to their place in person and order via DoorDash. Best to eat in person( maybe guaranteed freshness). Didnt want to take a picture of my chewed up pieces. Sorry."

"I'm almost sure the broth had a whole can worth of salt in it.
Portion is also kinda small, the noodle just fills up maybe bottom third of the bowl (size of Chinese cup noodle bowl), two slices of chashu maybe adds up to a single strip of bacon, definitely need kaedama if you want to fill yourself up.
Teriyaki salmon is just fine it tastes steamed and skin is not crisp, though pretty evenly cooked."

"I was hesitant to order the Meat Lovers Combo due to the price but then I figured I could probably get a couple of meals out of it. A couple of meals? Try more like 4 or more. The portions are huge! It's a ton of food. Very much worth the price you pay.
I normally don't like ordering chicken or pork from restaurants because the majority of the time it is so dry, especially when it is fried. Not here. I don't know how they keep the meats so juicy but they do. Even chicken breast! How often do people actually pull off juicy white meat?
Everything was juicy and tender on the inside. And even with a fairly decent drive from the restaurant to my house the batter was still super fresh and extra crunchy. Yes, they vent the boxes but I have had other places do that and not accomplish having the food show up still crispy. It's like magic! lol
All of the food in the pictures are from one meal, except for the (2) extra sauces I ordered. I literally have another 3 meals from this, if not more. The food is fresh and tasty. The sauces are really good and compliment the katsu well. This was an all around great meal(s). They also give you a ton of rice, cabbage salad and a nice little side of miso soup.
Considering most restaurants have left me disappointed lately I can say that this is one of the first DD orders, in a long time, that I was very happy with. I will absolutely buy food from this restaurant again."
"Delicious. Fresh. Huge portion, even the katsu sauce is huge. Miso soup isnt so salty. Salad is good. Rice texture is perfect. I wasnt expecting much as most katsu places are just OK but this meal was GOOD. Thank you"

"One of the first dates I had with my wife was here at Yoshi Sushi, and since then, it has become one of our favorite places.
I’ve eaten here many times over the years, and one thing that always makes me happy is the consistency. The food is always fresh, well prepared, and delicious. You can come back again and again and know you’re going to have a great experience.
Everyone who works here, from the owners and managers to the kitchen staff and the sushi bar team, is extremely friendly, organized, and professional. The sushi bar is always clean, and you can tell the team really takes pride in what they do. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the food.
Annie, one of the lunch servers, is always friendly, happy, and very organized. She always makes the experience even better.
Yoshi Sushi has become a special place for my wife and me, and we always look forward to coming back. Great food, great people, and consistently great experiences. Highly recommended!"

"I wish they gave me chopsticks.
everything else is perfect 10/10. I like that the veggies and noodles were separate from the broth.addning KARAKA SPICY (DD) adding spice was good"
"We were looking forward to it but unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations: VEGGIE BUN was the only one we can say it was delicious, but the VEGGIE AKAMARU was very bland and lacked flavor, especially given the price and if compared to the original one in Japan. The CHEESECAKE was a rip off - tasted good, but extremely small, just two bites and it was gone."

"Yakiniku Ju is super delicious and comforting. The portion is a little small for the price, but the dish itself is so good that I still really enjoy it. The food packaging really need to be improved too.
That said, Yayoi’s pricing is already on the high side, and I was surprised to see that the restaurant menu lists this dish at $26.50 while the DoorDash delivery price is $28.50. Since customers are already paying delivery and service fees through DoorDash, the additional markup on the food makes delivery feel like we’re being charged twice.
I love the food, but I really wish the delivery pricing were more reasonable and transparent."
"Portions are very small for the price. You get half the portion you'd get paying about the same at Curry Life. Rice was very mushy, and pork katsu was really dry. There wasn't anything exceptional about the unaju either (other than the really mushy rice)."

"SCALLOPS SAUTE and EDAMAME were so good. The little amount of food you get doesn't justify the price because you can get a whole value you meal at McDonald's for the cost of 6 tiny scallops but I don't have any regrets."
"Deceptive and disappointing. Despite advertising as a five-course meal most of the courses are actually paid add-ons. No soup, no dipping sauces, no rice. Portion of meat for $52 was ridiculously small, and "mixed vegetables" was just greasy onions and zucchini. Despite virtually all meal photos showing the fried rice, and being a staple of the restaurant experience, the fine-print says that this only includes steamed rice - and mine didn't even come with that. See the picture and tell me this is a premium five-course meal. "

"I ordered the Meat & Seafood Mix. The ribs were so soft. You can eat even if you don't have teeth. Shrimp tasted like shrimp but the texture was like chicken fried steak. Portion is good. I'm full and I haven't even finished the meat. I don't know if I would order this specific meal again.

"We find the Yakitori Don Bento & Kalbi Don Bento to be delicious & great values, but this time we tried the Gyusuji Don Bento and Nagoya Style Calamari and both were delicious. "Everything was delicious! Thank you to the person who made my Seasoned Waffle Fries ! I selected the spice level to "hot" and at first, didn't taste anything, but she is a cute slow kicker. Cleared out my allergies. Thank you to the guy for gently spicing up the fries. The Mango Lychee Green Tea was delicious! Very refreshing, great for summer. Plain Egg Puff was exact sweet tooth I was craving. "

"Good size pieces , reasonable price (: , comes with a large side of miso soup! Rice is perfect no mush "
"The combo tempura is definitely a PASS. It's pretty common to have at least two pieces of shrimp (the photo even shows two), but this came with one tiny, poorly fried shrimp. Even the veggies were scarce; seems like they went heavy on the fried onions to fill it out.
I ordered the two item bento (salmon teriyaki and california roll). The salmon was squishy and not cooked well all the way through. The sushi rice on the california roll was hard and bland, and the imitation crab seemed like it was also going bad. It had a grainy texture and a fishier taste than normal quality imitation crab from other restaurants. We had one bite and had to toss it. The bento was also missing miso soups for both orders.
I'd expect this from a fast take-out sushi joint, but for these prices, it's a hard "no" from me."

"Tha Yaki-Udon tasted great though noddles were very soft. Would prefer more chewy. The edamame was fine, as expected but could have been salted more and price high for it. The bento box with tempura and fried gyoza was also good and stayed crispy. All arrived hot. "
"Always super tasty food from Truya. I appreciated that the Monkey Brains were crispy and not soggy. Whie Dup Bap (Spicy) is tasty, healthy, and filling but the size of the pieces of fish leave a bit to be desired. Took off a star due to their thinness."

"First time having something like the Egg mari fried rice 계란 말이 복음밥. It was nicely seasoned, and the portion was pretty generous. However, it was missing the main protein that I had added for $7. They did include the Spam add-on I requested, but I wish I had that steak added. Overall pretty good.
The Yooche namul 유채 나물 was delicious and served as a nice side. Would recommend."
"Finally! I found a place that has good Egg Mari fried rice. Other places only wrap plain rice with eggs & ketchup on top. "Miyakko is one of the best Japanese Restaurants in San Jose, CA. My family enjoys many of the dishes. They cook everything just right. The rice is not hard or too soft, with a perfect texture every time. Especially the sushi is absolutely amazing. Even the Vegan style. I love this place, it is worth the price."
"I've ordered from Miyakko directly at least 20 times and have dined it many times as well. It's my favorite sushi in the area. 5 stars! It's always fresh, generous portions, and presented beautifully with a fresh flower. However, this is my first time ordering through doordash and the portions are noticeably smaller. My salmon nigiri was cut thinner than usual and the hamachi nigiri was unusually short with rice showing from underneath the fish. It's already marked up on DoorDash so for Miyakko to cut their portions is disappointing."

"The food is delicious and very simple. There's a nice char on the meat. The Cherry Tomato 2 pc is delicious and so are the mushrooms. All of the protein options are perfect. I prefer salt vs sauce on the protein."
"the pros: order was quick, food was mostly OK.
the cons:
The price to portion ratio does not math.
The Grilled Whole Squid / ヤリイカ姿焼き タレ/塩 was $16, I was expecting what you find in most other restaurants that sell grilled this dish: a decently sized grilled whole squid. What I got was the squid that I cut up for customers to use for rockcod bait on the boat that I work on ... and those go for $8 for a 1lb BOX. Pathetically small, honestly feels like a scam.
Similarly, the skewers ranged from $9 to $14.50 for 2pc. They are super tiny. Another skewer place I ordered from the other day sold 3pc skewers for half the price and double the portion. To add insult to injury, I didn't even get anything fancy: chicken liver (another thing that I use for bait while fishing and is CHEAP), chicken thigh, beef tongue (probably the "fanciest").
Will not be ordering from here again. "
