"I'll definitely come back for seconds, I had the Smoked Jerk Brisket 1/2 LB and the Large Sweet & Spicy Smoky Baked Beans and they SLAPPED! The flavors are just perfect and the serving is good enough for 2 meals or sharing if you're into that"
"Jerk was my go to spot but lately portions have been wildly inconsistent and the quality/care seems to have gone out the window. Grilled Jerk Chicken Thigh Combo used to have at least 8oz of chicken and a generous helping of rice, now it seems to be closed to 4-5oz and a small spoonful of rice. Not the value it once was. The Smoked Jerk Pork 1/2 LB was drier than shoe leather, cannot believe someone saw that and thought serving that was a good decision. Sweet Plantains continue to be dry and portion size has also gotten smaller."

"I LOVEDDDD 10/10 Egusi, Pepper soup, & Okra soup all with goat meat. Super fresh and hot & came with more than enough fufu for everything! Definitely my new spot ! The egusi did leack a bit of palm oil but im sure thats the dashers doing lol"
"This was my first try with african cuisine, and Im so glad I picked this place. The Spinach & Egusi Stew was special with lots of flavor. I ordered with chicken, I received two large drumsticks, they were juicy, fried (not breaded) and it added such a nice crisp and char to the dish. Also a good amount of spice! but it wasnt too much spice for me and im usually a mild spice person. Would reccommend to anyone curious about egusi"

"Best place to eat PR food. Its not salty, the only meat pies with potatoes in them, the best pork chop in sauce. I have tried other places and this one is by far the best. The arroz con gandules is to die for. "
"Lechon Asado Mixta was tender but unfortunately had no flavor. Didn't receive any crispy parts not sure how it was a mixed option.
Rice was ok not the best but decent. Portions are definitely huge however if the food is flavorless.
I just came back from Puerto Rico and was excited to have the pinchos however it more like fried chicken not grilled like in PR definitely didn't enjoy that at all. Orden de Maduros just tasted oily."

"The PABELLON AREPAS were outstanding. I chose beef brisket and the juicy flavor with salty cheese and airy inner and crispy outer texture of the arepa was fantastic. The flan was smaller than I thought it would be, but delicious. The SANCOCHO CRUZAO CHICKEN & BEEF
soup broth was really good, as well as the texture of the potatoes. I wish there would have been more carrot. The soup included a nice size square of beef and a bone-in chicken leg, as well as a delicious square of corn on the cob. It was good, though not my favorite."
"My first experience with El Rincón and they did not disappoint !
The AREPITAS with brisket were so tender and cute. The CACHAPA also with brisket was a meat treat in a pancake/crepe! Very flavorful.
I highly recommend checking El Rincón out. I know I'll be going there and bringing friends with me!"

"I would order it again and the taste was phenomenal my palette was in disbelief because I just wanted to try it and I was blown away. The portion was decent and the food is fresh and the corn beard was so juicy and not dry. I would give the restaurant a 9/10"
"The southern fried Southern Fried Chicken was just OK. You get one side for the price of the chicken inside, but I wanted to sample several other sides so I had the collard greens, mac and cheese & candied yams. Plus Peach Cobbler.
The greens were too salty and no other flavor to them. The macaroni and cheese was bland and reminded me of two steps above a Velveeta macaroni and cheese.. the yams were really good and just out of a swest with maybe cinnamon & brown sugar.
Peach Cobbler was really tasty. Buttery crust.
All of this food is over priced to be basic. The portions were HUGE; but who cares if it doesn't taste great.
I just want soul food to be AMAZING. This place is about vibes & fleecing its clientele."

"Really solid Nigerian food. The whipped okra soup was flavorful with fresh fish and good spice level. The dark fufu was smooth, sticky, and not too sour — perfect texture. Portions were generous and the food tasted authentic and homemade. Definitely one of the better African food spots I’ve tried on the road."
"This was my first time trying whipped okra stew. I must say I'm absolutely hooked!! My daughter and I found out about Nigerian Kitchen two years ago while walking through the Uptown area. My daughter tried the egusi and I had the goat pepper soup as well as their pounded yam. We knew then, that we would be "Forever customers". They are consistent in proportion, attention to detail and service. I enjoy the authentic flavor and the love put in every dish!! I thank you for talking with me about my order and making sure it was so delectable!! I ordered fish and goat with my whipped okra. The goat was tender and the fish was cooked just right. This dish has a slight kick, (I love heat) but it goes great with the pounded yam.. Chef's Kiss!! I will be back at the end of the week!!"

"Bistec Sandwich (Super) best Cuban sandwich I ever had. its so well seasoned and cheesy. Café Con Leche Frio so good!"
"JIBARITOS IS FIRE! The empanadas are crispy, fresh, and full of flavor, and the Cubano sandwich is pressed to perfection—warm, savory, and so satisfying. The bistec encebollado is tender and packed with rich, comforting flavor, while the pollo frito is crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. And the yuca rellena? So good—crispy on the outside with that soft, flavorful filling inside.
Everything tastes authentic and made with love. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m craving good Cuban food"

"Absolutely delicious. The green sauce was so good on both the shrimp and the steak. Yum"
"Chicken soup had good taste but was just chicken and broth. Would not order again. Wish it had some veggies maybe even noodles or side of rice.
The Pepito Sandwich was nothing special. The salsa really was the only thing that made it somewhat better.

"Overall well pleased. Thef food was flavorful although temperature suffered a bit - it was a cold day. We did taste any coconut in the Avena de Coco but it was still very creamy and such a fantastic familiar flavor. I'd definitely will buy from here again. I found prices to be fair as well."
"Not what I expected. The flavor and texture needs balance for the mofongo. The flavor was not that bad, but a few bites and it's a no, too much on the tomato sauce side. My daughter also asked for the French toast and came with no sirup. Too expensive for bread in my opinion."

"Relleno de Mofongo pork inside is very tasty😋"
"Secondly we ordered a mofongo w the cheese sauce and carne frita w extra carne and specifically put NO LETTUCE due to the viruses going around on lettuce. The food... served on a bed of lettuce and no cheese sauce which we paid extra for. The carne was tough and there were tons of pieces that were mostly bones.
We also ordered a jibarito w arroz con gondules. The jibarito was borderline burnt but still floppy and soggy. The rice had good flavor but then I bit into a bone in the rice.
We also ordered tostones which were absolutely burnt to hell and also soggy and cold.
