"Ordered here for the first time. I got the peppered steak for myself, and the $3 rice side. I will say the dish was very soupy (I expected actual peppered steak) but it was still amazing. I also ordered the drunken rice to share, and my husband wanted the pad Thai. I ordered them to all be mild spice levels and it had a little kick which we liked. The portions are HUGE, enough to last us at least 3 meals each.
The food was hot when I went to pick it up about 15mins after it was ready. The woman at the desk was kind & the food was ready less than 20mins after I ordered it. Definitely ordering here again!"
"Von Thai is a local gem with some truly delicious food. I loved the chicken tom yum soup—it was so flavorful, bursting with a perfect balance of citrus and spice. The chicken 'C4' keaw warn was also fantastic.
My only note for the kitchen staff:
Give the eggplant a little extra love. The thick slices in my dish have been a bit raw on the last two visits. If you're able to cook it a bit longer or slice it more thinly, I think it would bring out the sweetness and make the dish even better."

Thai Fried Rice (Khao Pad) because that's typically great at a thai place and basic to test if you want to order more from a thai restaurant but it was just mid sadly. The peas were extremely hard making this basically a hazard to eat so I had to pick them out one by one in order to not break a tooth. The flavor of the food was fine though but I definitely wouldn't order here again because that halal thai place has better food for the same price. I don't think the veggies were fresh so maybe that's why the peas were like little rocks? For mid food the portion was too small."

The foods are super fresh and the sushi is very affordable also. my partner enjoyed his seafood and I enjoyed my plants. 😋 only other thai place I will frequent is Suhko Thai in Rochester. Fried Las Vegas Roll (8 pcs) in my photos, but I did include a photo of that roll along with the rest of my order. I'd definitely recommend their Chicken Spring Rolls (2pcs) . They weren't soggy or greasy. They still had a good amount of crunch to them. The sauce was sweet and tangy. The sushi rolls were fresh and delicious. I'll be ordering from them again. Additionally, it came with the very smallest box of rice known to man, which was NOT enough for two Fresh Shrimp Egg Foo Young (Pint) Egg Foo Young two patties. The rice was also devoid of flavor and was over cooked, mushy.
I **would not recommend this place and will not purchase anything from this particular restaurant Wong's Garden ever again.
Overall.....Poor quality, poor quantity, devoid of flavor/seasoning, cold items temperature wise, NOT a good value for the subpar food you are getting.
Not at all fair to the customer paying good, hard earned money just to be served bad food. New cooks with improved recipes are needed ASAP.
