"Never had Jamaican food before but after today, I definitely get the hype. First of all shoutouts for the packaging as 100% prevent tampering. The flavor of everything was second to none. I especially fell in love with the Rockaway Oxtail as it was super tender and extremely flavorful. On top of that the extra side of Oxtail was definitely worth the price as portion of meat and sauce was generous. "I ordered the oxtail, and the flavor was absolutely amazing—rich, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. As someone who is Jamaican, I know authentic Jamaican food, and this is by far the most authentic I’ve tasted in North Carolina since moving here.
That said, for the price, the portion was a bit disappointing. I only received about four pieces of Oxtail, and most of it was bone. I did order later in the day, so that may have played a role—not excusing it, but it could be a factor.
On a positive note, the Jamaican Beef Patty was also very tasty and definitely worth trying. The Festivals (3) was also perfect.
Overall, despite the smaller portion size, the quality and authenticity of the food really stood out. I’ll definitely give them another try because the flavor alone makes it worth going back."
