I've had this soup at other Thai restaurants, and in my opinion, Cravin Thai's is in the top 3, spicy, but not overwhelming and the ingredients in the broth are distinct, but work together in perfect harmony! The last dish we had was the Pad See-ew. It was for sure a really good dish, with the only drawback being the chicken was a little dry, but I think it's because I chose it as an additional ingredient, one of many options you can request to enhance the dish. My wife had the Mixed green salad and she loved it and made 3 meals out of it. The soup was delicious and the rolls they sent were still hot soft and a little crispy on the outside. The issue I have, and what kept me from giving the a "Loved" over a "Liked", is that it was about $23 for each main dish, and the portions were the small to-go containers. They also use dry white meat chicken instead of juicy dark meat. Maybe if they stewed it longer to be soft and moist rather than dry, but it was so dry that I got stuck in my teeth. The Flautitas were tasty but not worth $16 even with the rice and beans. The Traditional Burrito was huge, but again - not worth $18 without at least a side of chips or something to attempt to justify the price. One thing I would is that they mention that their Burrito is not a handheld burrito, as it's covered in melted cheese. It's definitely overkill. Maybe knock the price down a few dollars and save the cheese on top.
I enjoy having some local Mexican restaurants that cook traditional style food, but I fear their prices may be their undoing in the long run.
