It's my favorite Asian restaurant in Jacksonville and I always consider food from here when I earn enough money to eat out. I love that they have really good portion sizes and the take out packaging keeps everything fresh and is well-sealed. I usually order the Miso Soup and Dragon Roll (with soy sauce) and it's never leaked.
I am also EXTREMELY allergic to shellfish and Mandarin Asian Bistro is the ONLY place in town I am confident in. I have tried every single place that offers sushi (even Publix) and I have gotten sick at all of them, except here. They take excellent care when I inform them and completely understand my allergies/needs and take great care in ensuring there's no cross-contamination. I've eaten here more times than I can count and I love that they consistently offer amazing service."

The mac salad may not be for everyone since it's a hardy mayo base, but I love it. It just needs a little salt and it brings out the rest of the flavors. The bbq beef has amazing flavor and is super tender and juicy. I had boba milk tea last time, which wasn't my favorite. It was extremely watery. I tried the pineapple coconut smoothie with boba this time and it's TAAART. If you like tart drinks, you'd love this, but it's not for me. The boba is ok, but isn't as tender as I like. And for some reason, the smoothie kept separating at the bottom, which was really odd."

When it arrived there were 7 pieces of shrimp and the rest was packed with chicken.
Normally it would not be a problem, but the fact that they do charge extra for each order or the shrimp made it a bit disappointing... and them not answering the phone when called (I guess they were busy), was even more so.
