"If you are looking for a unique French style turkey sandwich then the Turkey & Havarti Sandwich is an excellent choice. The seeded sweet mustard and Havarti cheese along with French wheat bread and arugula make it a unique experience that differs from most other places that offer more normal less gourmet style turkey sandwiches. I also like the Zapp's Salt & Vinegar chips and not many other places even offer Zapp's brand chips. The Side Baguette with Butter is also good and my daughter loves it and we also both like the Chocolate Chip Cookie. I have also tried their Pistachio Chip Cookie and I think that is also good but my daughter doesn't like the pistachio version cookie or the gluten free version cookie which we both didn't like. I ordered the seasonal ‘King’ Burger, and if you’re considering it, add the egg. It’s not optional in my book.
I loved another version of this burger back home, being homesick, I was over the moon to find another burger King inspired.
At nearly $19 for just the burger (before delivery), I had some sticker shock. After eating it? I’d honestly pay more.
And let's be real, if you want good food, quality ingredients, and thoughtful preparation these days, this is a median price point.
Quit eating crap burgers and sink your teeth into this guy.
I’m usually not a smash burger fan, but this is exactly the kind of burger that should be smashed. Every flavor blends together perfectly.
The homemade peanut butter was incredible. I’d buy a bucket of it if they sold one. The bacon was thick, smoky, and somehow still perfectly crisp without tasting burnt—a rare accomplishment. The potato bun was the softest bun I’ve ever had, and the entire burger was rich, indulgent, and honestly large enough that some people could split it.
Now for the story behind this review.
Yesterday I ordered from them and had an awful DoorDash experience. I waited over two hours while watching the driver circle my neighborhood. My wife’s sandwich eventually arrived looking like it had been pulled out of the trash, and my burger never arrived at all.
Today I called the cart and spoke with the chef. He couldn’t have handled it better. He was genuinely empathetic, took ownership of making things right, and immediately went into problem-solving mode. He even banned that Dasher from delivering for the cart in the future, included a complimentary order of their café fries with my order, and left me a handwritten note letting me know that driver would no longer be doing business with them.
Then, after the food arrived, the chef personally called to make sure everything had worked out.
That is customer service.
It’s easy to judge a business when everything goes perfectly. The real test is how they respond when something goes wrong. Milwuakie Cafe Cart absolutely nailed it.
If this burger was this good after delivery, I can’t imagine how incredible it is fresh off the grill. It’s officially on my list of Portland-area must-tries."

My only minor complaint is that I wish they included a little more meat without having to pay extra. On the plus side, they offer extra pâté, which is delicious and definitely worth adding if you're a fan.
Overall, this has become my new go-to bánh mì spot that's conveniently close to home. Great bread, great flavor, and I'll definitely be back!"
