"This Indian food is the BEST in the East Bay! The meat is super tender, the spices just right, prices fair and the quality is akin to the best in the City! Their lamb dishes taste like my mom used to make. Just unreal how good they are!"
"The chick tikka masala was good but the tandoori lamb chops were poorly packaged for $20.83 I feel as if I could have received better quality packaging trying to unwrap the foil from the flimsy paper tray my juicy lamb chops were in 2 fell out the side of the foil onto the floor to which I was left very perturbed but to sum of the experience great food poorly packaged "

"Absolutely loved this place! It’s family-owned and you can taste the love and care in every bite. The food was incredibly fresh, and the flavors—just wow. The chicken came with a spicy sauce that was an absolute explosion of flavor, the kind that lingers in the best way. The naan was perfectly soft and buttery, great for scooping up all the extra sauce from the generous Chicken Tikka Masala, which was rich, creamy, and easily enough to satisfy two people. This is the kind of spot that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend! Even spoke with owners daughter to share how amazing it was! Thank you! "

"Delicious and fresh flavor! This is one of my new favorite restaurants. The portions are large and great for a family of three. 10/10 would order again. Especially the Honey Cauliflower, I was expecting it to be super sweet but it's just right. The Potato Peas Samosa's are pretty big and not too hard or soft, just the right amount of crunch, and the inside is a perfect softness, not mushy at all. The Tamarind Rice was not greasy like most places, and super fluffy! Mango Lassi is smooth with a rich yogurt flavor. And lastly the Plain Naan is the cherry on top, easy to eat and cooked just right 10/10. All alongside the amazing quality, we got pretty cool bags and even had enough for leftovers. :)"
"The Lamb Dum Biryani from Swagat is probably my favorite Biriyani in the East Bay. Generous portion, fresh, hot and it really is delicious! Have ordered multiple times, and will order again!"

"Wow! We've had some pretty subpar Indian on Door Dash and this is by far the best Indian food I've had in a long time! I called to ask if they could make the Aloo Gobi extra spicy and it was perfect. The Samosa Chaat was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet and the Chicken Tikka Masala was everything you'd want it to be.
The portions were smaller than expected, but I would much rather have quality over quantity. Will happily be ordering again! "
"Veggie Pakora (6pc) fell apart really easily and were a little dry and not super crunchy. Naan was tough and chewy. Rice was luke warm. The amount of chicken in the Chicken Tikka Masala and the portion of Dal Makhani was pretty small, however, they tasted great!!"

"Ok. So, wasn't exoecting to really enjoy the Calcutta Chicken Hakka Noodles and the Chicken 65. Flavorful, and just spicy enough to enjoy it. Chicken Tikka Masala and naan were ok-to-good. Didn't disappoint, but didn't wow either. Overall, will definitely order from here, and probably will want to try some of their lesser known dishes. The quantity was quite generous for the price and overall, nicely packaged and presented well. "
"This was the first time we have ordered from Chandi. The food was good but lacked any spice. It would be nice if you could indicate spice level. Even the Lamb Vindaloo which is called "spicy" was more of a medium spice level. We liked the Saag Panner and the Chicken Tikka but again no option to choose a spice level. The food was well packed and arrived hot. Overall the food was good, a bit pricy, but good."

"I'm not usually one to write a review for anything, really. But I have to write this to say that I've never had this much chicken put into my butter chicken from an Indian place before.
If you're someone that cares about macros and getting enough protein, you would be very happy with the amount of chicken you get in one serving. The food tasted great also, and packaging was super clean/spill free."
"The cauliflower and potatoes dish was horrible, tasteless. The dishes are inconsistent, previous order it was covered in a tomato sauce, this time no sauce and very bland. Plus the portion size for the price is absolutely ridiculous. We had maybe 4 cauliflower florets and 5 small potatoes wedges.
The chicken tikki sauce was lumpy and lukewarm. The texture was like it sat for awhile then reheated in the microwave
Over all disappointing and will not order again."

"Veg. Jhol Momo (8 Pieces) , Paneer Tikka Masala, and Vegetable Korma (Contains Dairy/nuts) were very tasty. Veg. Biryani was reason I ordered from this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Has a little kick. When I order again I'd get an extra side of raita. The side that came with the rice was quite small. "
"Lamb chops were completely pink on the inside and tasted raw. I had to spit it out immediately. It was also very chewy. And portion sizes were very small given the price (about $28 but portions were worth maybe $17-18; even that may be generous).

"The amount of food I got, for the price I paid? Almost feels like a steal! The food was delicious! Ive never had chicken biryani before and i loved it! A bit spicy, very flavorful and definitely filling! They had whole bone in pieces of chicken so careful when taking a bite. The garlic cheese naan was great too although I personally would have preferred touch bit more cheese. Either way I wasn't actually able to finish my food but that's ok since now I have lunch for tomorrow too! :) I will definitely be ordering from here again!! "

"I recently tried the Chicken Momo lapping and Khana set at 4 Dreams Nepal I & Indian Cuisine, and it was a great experience overall.
The Chicken Momo lapping was the highlight. The momos were soft, juicy, and well stuffed with flavorful minced chicken. The “lapping” style, covered in a rich, slightly spicy sesame based sauce, added a creamy and tangy kick that made the dish stand out. The sauce was balanced not too spicy, but enough to give a nice warmth. The portion size was generous and perfect for sharing, although I could easily finish it myself because it was that good.
The Khana set felt like a complete and comforting meal. It came with rice, dal, vegetable curry, chicken curry, achar, and salad. The rice was fresh and fluffy. The dal was simple yet comforting, with a homestyle Nepali flavor. The chicken curry was tender and well cooked, with spices blended nicely without being overpowering. The achar added the perfect spicy and tangy contrast to the meal. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, just like traditional Nepali home cooking.
The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Overall, I would definitely recommend 4 Dreams Nepal I & Indian Cuisine for anyone craving authentic Nepali and Indian food, especially their Chicken Momo lapping and Khana set. I will definitely be going back again."
"The Dahl Tadka tasted like thickened grease fat from the bottom of the pan, like you would use to make buskits and gravy. It had no flavor other than fat and salt. I ordered two in hopes that it would be great, but couldn't eat either of them.
I have never had such an experience with any Indian Dahl dish before .
The soup was very tasty and the broth flavorful. I hoped to have it mild as I was recovering from surgery and was supposed to avoid spicy food. I'll order the soup again when I'm feeling better"

"I Thought I ordered the butter chicken rice bowl but I got chickpea salad bowl! It was insanely flavorful! Strong delicious flavors. Bowl made 2 meals though it coulda shoulda been 3 or 4 days meals. I had to lick the container clean at the end. The samosa was really good and came w 2 dipping sauces. One sweet and spicy, one savory green & spicy. If you like spice and want to eat more chickpeas, order this. Guess I still have to try the Butter Chicken and another Samosa."

"The Indian buffet on San Pablo is long gone, so Vegan N' Chicken filled in for a nostalgic moment with a Cal friend, now a Prof at Purdue. Fulfilling and tasty, love the vegetable biriyani and zesty chicken tikka masala. Lighter dishes, great menu, you really can't go wrong with anything here. Plus it's Halal! We dug in before I remembered to take photos."

"Wow! Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The Prawn Tikka Masala was amazing, I'm sure the chicken TM would be ever better but my bf doesn't eat chicken so we compromised this time. The Saag Paneer - amazing as well. Neither were too spicy, which we prefer. If you want spice I'd include it in the special instructions. The Garlic Naan and Butter Naan were okay, can't really go wrong with naan bread but could've been a little better taste/texture. Overall amazing! As far as portions go - one order of basmati rice is enough for 2 people. Wasn't sure since it was only $2.95 but it's a good amount! Veggie Vegetable Samosa were good too, could've used a bit more diverse spices/veggies. Added some mango Mango Chutney and it was definitely better that way. "
"I have ordered from here multiple times. Their vindaloo is delicious, packed with flavor and perfectly portioned for price. The lamb is so tender, it falls apart with just a fork. It always arrives hot and fresh, and I will continue to order from here, whenever I want Indian cuisine. Their garlic naan is amazing! If you are into cheesy naan, it's great too. I ordered it by accident one day, and was pleasantly surprised. (I don't usually do cheese naan.) great packaging is simple, and efficient! It keeps everything hot for arrival, and it can easily be used to store any leftovers, without dirtying any dishes."

"I ordered from Chai & Co in Concord through DoorDash, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The Fiery Zing burger arrived fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The patty was juicy, the veggies were crisp, and the spicy zing sauce delivered the perfect kick without overpowering the taste. It was delicious and super satisfying.
The Peach Refresher was equally impressive—light, fruity, and refreshing with a clean peach flavor that wasn’t overly sweet. It paired perfectly with the heat from the burger and made the whole meal feel complete.
Everything was packed neatly, arrived on time, and tasted just as good as dining in. I’m really glad I gave this combo a try because it’s easily one of my new favorites. Highly recommend ordering from them on DoorDash!"
"The tea was good, but it would help to use a plastic stopper-- the sticker seal on the lid was not enough to keep the hot tea from spilling all over. The cup was quite a mess when I received it."

I also appreciate that when you ask for Indian spicy they actually make it spicy. I like that the food is made to order, so it's always fresh. It's worth the wait!!"
"FABULOUS!!! By far the best Indian food I've ever had, and I'm pushing 70! Wish I could give it seven stars. The chicken and spinach are fantastic: tender chicken, and beautifully spiced. The rice is perfectly fluffy, with a hint of something extra. Easily enough for three people. Meant to order for tomorrow, as I had a late lunch. So I haven't yet tried the veggie samosas or mint sauce; They both look fantastic! Bonus that the food arrived beautifully packaged, and piping hot. I have a new favorite restaurant. "Absolutely incredible flavor on the tandoori fish and the wings (5-6) that were also tandoori flavor. "
"The food was very good, especially the Lahori chickpeas and onion naan. I used to visit the now-closed Bismillah in San Pablo and read that this was the same group. It’s not exactly the same, though I preferred the naan and chickpeas here.
The lamb chops were overcooked and missing their rice. The Chicken Tikka Masala sauce was excellent. The medium spice needed more heat. but not enough to warrant ordering spicy. The San Pablo Bismallah doesn't give a choice but it was always perfect for my taste. if I go in and order that may be something I can work out. not their fault. My biggest issue was the yogurt-like coating on the meat, which changed the texture and reduced the tandoori char. I preferred the chicken at the old Bismillah.
The shop is great, with a fresh meat counter, good products, and lovely staff. I’d return, but may order different meat dishes."

"LITTI CHOKHA and Dahi Vada Chaat both were amazing. Loved the authentic taste."
"I was looking forward to the food because of all the great reviews! I ordered delivery due to recovering from a medical procedure. I wanted to treat myself because of having gone through all that.
The chicken biryani is supposed to come with a whole Cornish hen --- it literally says this on their menu. The TINY container only included a quarter of that. It was so sad-looking. I had imagined that even if they couldn't fit the whole hen, that they would maybe split it into at least two containers? I would've expected more for a menu item that cost $32. It was also supposed to include garlic raita, which was nowhere to be seen.
I also got the much-raved-about Alleppey fish & prawn curry ($34), which similarly left much to be desired. The gravy here actually didn't taste that different from the biryani's korma sauce.
Disappointed in what feels like lesser quality and care when it comes to folks who aren't able-bodied enough to eat at the restaurant. If you're ordering to-go/delivery, definitely DO NOT order the chicken biryani or the fish and prawn curry. You'll wish you saved the money/Doordash credits. I don't think I'd order from here again. "I ordered Veg tikka masala and Goat Curry.
The vegetables were well cooked, they tasted very fresh (crisp green beans, cauliflower, thinly sliced zucchini, and fine carrots). The sauce was a little bland.
