"A local business recommended Tamarind Thai. I noticed that some of the online menu prices with Google were different from the online DD like the mango and rice dessert is less on Google. Also, some of the pictures on DD don't match what is being sold. I got the $5.95 Sweet Sticky Rice but what is pictured is mango and sticky rice. It was good, but I thought it was a smaller dessert amount from the larger one. In addition, the rice looks dark in the picture, but they use white rice now.
Also, on DD many of the items do not have any description so you don't know what is included.
Chicken Satay the chicken was wrapped in foil and there was a small container of peanut dipping sauce which could have been a larger size, and a small container with vinegar and onions.
Thai Iced Tea What kind of creamer is it? This one had an aftertaste. Fresh Roll [Shrimp] not much shrimp, pieces of the core of cabbage, a long piece of mint stem. It needs two peanut sauces."

"The Some of the best Thai you'll find in the San Diego area and likely the very best in East County. My wife and I are fortunate enough to live within a few blocks of the restaurant. Evil Fish is a relatively new discovery that is savory, sweet and can handle as much (or as little) heat as you need. "This is definitely the best Chinese food restaurant in the neighborhood, possibly the best Thai food restaurant unless you want very specific region Thai, and absolutely the best Door Dash restaurant.
I spend months of the year in SE Asia and literally everything I've had there has been great. It is extremely *clean, fresh, well prepared and seasoned, and cooked properly*. Every time.
They are fast! They allow you to select proteins, make substitutions, add comments or requests, select all the cutlery you need with many types of sauces available, and they get it right, also every time. They are open late! Still cooked fresh for you.
If you are not used to authentic Thai food it may look bland to you. Let me assure you it is not. The chilis used are much hotter than ones you see in America so less is used. This makes it mouth hot, but not stomach hot. The 5 will make your nose run and maybe flush your face out but if you want spicey for a Thai person you should tell them and they can do it. The 3 is hot enough for flavor id put it at raw jalapeño level."

"Crab Rangoon absolutely stuffed with cream cheese, and you can tell the plum sauce is made in house by the garlic. It doesn't have that artificial and sickly sweet taste that most have. The Tom Ka Soup (Small) was so fragrant and creamy, and once again, my add-on of shrimp was the move. They were juicy and tender - to die for. The Pad Thai was a generous portion, fresh, and delish. I have been to Thailand and several solid Thai places in both the Bay and LA county, and this was extremely bland. Spice was also lacking, as I asked for level 5, and it was not spicy at all. The basil on the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) was either dried or frozen and lacked flavor - authentic Thai cuisine uses fresh basil. Second, the fish cake seemed frozen and defrosted -- why would you charge $13 for frozen food..? Extremely disappointed because I paid $40+ for gentrified Thai food. "

Shrimp Salad Rolls (Box of 3) looks like the shrimp escaped the wrap a bit so it may be hard to eat tomorrow.Chicken Masala Curry was temperature hot and delicious save the tomatoes. They should skip the tomatoes and add more chicken and cauliflower instead. It would be more fun with some more heat as well. Sweet Sticky Rice w/ Mango had loads of sweet sauce, mangoes, and rice, but I didn't find any of the mung beans on top.
I didn't see a place to request utensils or napkins. It would be great if they gave napkins. everything was packaged well."

"This is my first time trying Indonesian food, and I usually don't order delivery for a first try (since the quality is always better when fresh from the kitchen). But, let me just say... this food is super delicious, even though it was delivered! Everything was suuuper craveable. The Bihun Goreng (Thin Stir-Fried Noodles) is probably the best thin rice noodle stir fry I've ever had. So. Much. Flavor. And, the Nasi Kuning (Turmeric Rice Combination) was crazy good. I will get both of these dishes a bunch more. The Choi Pan (Steamed Dumplings) were also tasty, though not my favorite because of the sweet potato texture (personal issue - not a problem with the dish). The Shrimp Chips and Crispy Veggies Rolls were also quite tasty. Portion sizes were really generous too. Will definitely order again and try more dishes as well. Highly recommended!"
"This place is absurdly good especially for the money. Even though it's delicious, I'd suggest against the fried Tempe Mendoan (Fried Tempe) because the portion size is very small compared to the other dishes. The noddle dishes are massive any only $10 and the Tahu Goreng Pedas (Spicy Fried Tofu) is double the food than the Tempe for a dollar less. The Lumpia (Egg Roll) was amazing as well. "
