"Ordered the beef/lamb gyro, it had barely any tzatziki sauce so it was very dry. The beef/lamb was small chopped up pieces of meat instead of long slices which added to the dryness. Also though they could have cut back on the amount of meat in the gyro. Asked for fries on the side and paid for the extra fries option, got a total of 11 fries!?!? (See photo!).
This happened the last time I ordered the "extra fries option" as well, I called and complained and was promised a refund but never got it. It was only $1, but it is the principle of not getting what you ordered. At least this time I ordered a side of fries, used a previous order and didn't realize it had the extra charge for extra fries on the side, still think that should be more than 11 fries!"

"Have ordered multiple times but have never dined in person here. The quality of food is great but, I've noticed changes recently that make me less inclined to come back- the portion of meat on the chicken plate was halved from previous orders, they've removed the ability to replace the salad with more rice, and the rice seems to have been switched out for a different less flavorful version since my previous orders. It used to be a great deal if you ordered during the happy hour, but I haven't seen that option in a while either. I don't appreciate the trend of lowering value and keeping the prices high."

"Dishes don't taste like they do at the other locations. The Grilled Veggies strangely had an overly acidic taste and none of the green basil tahini. The chicken in the Beriani Dajaj was overcooked and dry while the potatoes were undercooked. The Kibbeh was packed with wet salad such that it was completely soggy on the bottom when we got to it.
This is one of my favorite restaurants - hope this location can improve quality."

"Some of the best food in Lafayette, hands down. Very generous portions - one main dish usually lasts me at least 2 meals. Get the dolmas appetizer and drizzle some of the glaze on your dinner for some sweet-savory bliss. Also, the chicken kebab plate is a great healthy option. The steamed vegetables that come on the side are simple and delicious without being smothered in butter the way other restaurants seem to always do."

"My first time ordering from Mixt and I was pleasantly surprised.
Quality of ingredients was great and fresh. Delivery from San Ramon to Castro Valley was timely.
I ordered the crispy chicken poblano salad. The dressing was excellent.
I also tried the fried cauliflower. It arrived soggy in a non-ventilated container. I popped them in the air fryer for a few minutes and they were good as new. Dipping sauce was also excellent.
I didn't love the delivery fee, but I'd order from here again if not sit down at the brick and mortar.
