The DUMPLINGS (6pcs) (gyoza) were decent, except they don't give any traditional gyoza sauce to dip them in. They just throw in packets of Chinese soy sauce (there's a difference between Chinese & Japanese soy sauces), sweet & sour sauce, and Sriracha sauce. Those would work great with egg rolls but that's not what the dumplings/gyoza are. Tried the Chinese soy sauce and it was too salty. Ended up going with the sweet & sour packets but was very underwhelming as the two didn't complement each other. I didn't even finish them. Just ate 3 out of the 6.
A lot of Chinese influence from a place with Japan in the name. If I wanted Chinese food I would have ordered from a Chinese restaurant.

"The food from this place is consistently delicious and the most authentic in the area. The Hong Kong pan fried noodles arrived packaged perfectly- one contained the keep the pan fried noodle crispy and the break and veg story fry separate double wrapped in a quart container and bag to prevent leaks. The food was all hot and fresh and amazing. Ended it all with the egg yolk buns. Just what I wanted and just delicious!!!"
"Finally got to try this place and it is worth all the hype. I got the Salted Egg Yolk with Jumbo Shrimp / 金沙大蝦 46. BBQ Pork Crepe / 叉烧肠粉 and Fish Fillet with Yellow Chive / 韭黃魚柳 each one was amazing. Only two places in the United States have been this authentic and flavorful. One is in Oregon the other is here in Illinois. I suggest the crepes."

"Tai San's pad see eiw is unique and different from every other Thai restaurant I've tried. The noodles are thick and there's a good amount of sauce. Some of the noodles are fried and crispy. I'm sure some people wouldn't enjoy it and want traditional pad see eiw, but I think this variation is delightful and I keep coming back for more. I only wish there was more broccoli, and the mushrooms are different from traditional pad see eiw."
"I typically don't bother writing reviews for food that's not very good, but every item, including the Thai Iced Coffee 泰咖啡 I received from Tai San Chef was way beyond "not very good"—it was absolutely awful tasting.
The Pad Thai Tofu NDL barely had any tofu in it, and the eggs, sprouts, onions, and peanuts were pretty much all but non-existent. I'm also 99% sure that the tamarind sauce on it was made with a ton of ketchup too, but either way, it tasted so bad that I ended up throwing it out after a few bites.
The Pad See Eiw CK was bland and incredibly dry and chewy, but at least it was somewhat edible."
