Each potato was burnt, no luck eatingthe peel.The chicken tasted amazing,but they only gave us 1 tablespoon of meat. Even after adding everything to the potatoes,they were still.so.dry. I felt awful because I had suggested we eat this for our Saturday dinner. We had to dump our BBQ beans on top of the potatoes just so we could have moisture enough to swallow them. The delivery driver was excellent and prompt. We know Lawler's usually does better than this, so what happened? I'm hoping the next time we order is back to great food! We won't be in a huge hurry to try this again after tonight! The BBQ beans were good, only wish our potatoes had been also!"

Our Kids Macaroni & Cheese ($6.89) stayed surprisingly creamy and warm thanks to the insulated packaging—my little one dug right in and devoured every last noodle. The Homestyle Cheezy Broccoli ($4.59) arrived hot, though the sauce had pooled a bit on the side; tossing the florets back in it brought the flavor right back.
The food arrived in about 25 minutes, exactly as estimated, and the driver was polite and efficient. Everything was securely boxed, with minimal spillage. The only hiccup was that a few broccoli pieces were a tad softer than I’d expect fresh out of the oven—but the cheese sauce carried it.
All told, solid value for a delivery order, with generous portions and good temperature retention. For a casual family meal at home, Applebee’s hit the mark. We’ll definitely use delivery again next time we want a quick, kid-friendly dinner.
