"For the price of the teriyaki chicken dinner I ordered for dinner, I expected to be comfortably full. However, to be honest, for $32, we probably received only half a piece of chicken and a half cup of rice. It was quite disappointing.
The food itself was delicious, but the portion sizes were a major issue. If you compare this to other Chinese or Japanese restaurants, where you can get a togo container for $13 and it’s so full that you can barely close it, it’s quite a contrast.
We ordered two chicken teriyaki dinners and I also ordered another side of chicken teriyaki, thinking it would be a great lunch the next day. Unfortunately, we ended up having to eat it with what we ordered, and the total cost came to around $14.
As there was only my child and myself , the total cost for dinner was $100. I would not recommend ordering from Osaka’s until they address their portion control."
