"Food was excellent! We had the Southern Fried Chicken Family Meal and added on the Fried Apples. Maybe the store was crazy busy (New Years Day evening), but the order took an hour to hand-off to the Dasher. For that, I deducted a star. Food was great. Hot. Everything was there--nothing missing."
"The concept is there the execution failed. The carrots and corn were mushy and inedible, only two tiny potatoes and two carrots, there was way too much liquid in the bottom, the chicken was falling apart but too many small bones to choke on and the seasoning was steamed off. I wouldn't buy this again.

"Lately I have been getting the Cantina Chicken Bowl which is absolutely excellent. You can customize it exactly how you want, leave out things you don't like, and add extra things you do like. This is definitely one of the best things I have had at Taco Bell. Like a taco salad but you can get chicken, steak, meat, beans, etc. The dressing they put on it is very good. It comes warm but it is also very good cold as leftovers. I encourage you to try it. Not a huge fan of Baja Blast to begin with but that's not Taco Bell's fault."
"After a few orders with incorrect items, missing sauces, and little to no (skimpy) preparation of the tacos; my orders have been amazing since. Not a single missing sauce, all the items are correct, and the food is at a minimum properly made or completed with extra love.
I feel like my prior complaints have been heard, and will continue ordering as I feel I've been heard. The Creamy Jalapeño Sauce goes amazing on everything, the Chicken Chipotle Melts make taquitos/gas station pick ups look like trash, and the Beefy Melt Burritos remind me of the old frito burritos - though nothing will compare.
I definitely recommend everyone pick up your lunch (or dinner - night shifters like me) from this location. You can know that this location takes pride in its content."

I'm trying to watch my figure so this isn't something I can eat often but I'm already thinking about how I can get them to cater Thanksgiving or Christmas!!!"

"The Texas Toast was extremely soft and fresh. The Big Yellow Cup was so full and cold and the Brisket Mac Stack was 100 percent the best part. So creamy and the brisket was shocking how yummy it was!!"
"I don't know if I got the crappy end of the stick by ordering from DoorDash or what but this food is overrated, overhyped and not good, to say the least and that's me being nice about it. The food is not worth the money imo. My wife and I each had our own meals as well as Kielbasa for us to share and was left disappointed. Her ribs came with barely any meat on the bones but that's after already being thrown off by the smell upon first opening of the bag. It smelled absolutely horrendous, akin to a garbage compactor, which were the Green Beans that she had as a side by the way. The taste for them were no better. She requested I taste them which I did causing me to gag and spit them out immediately. The meats that I had were dry and bland (Pulled Pork, Brisket and Ribs) as if they had been overcooked all day or something, the baked beans tasted like something straight out of a can and the Loaded Mashed Potatoes with Gravy were dry as well despite it having gravy and the cabbage slaw was decent at best. I will say the Texas toast is really good. Light, fluffy and crispy all mixed into one but that was not enough to win me over. Nor was the sauces which were actually good. Woodpile is a way better experience and is how BBQ should be done, despite it being a little ways from home now. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant and I shall not waste my money on ordering again."

"I really love the sausage but the chicken is a close 2nd. The loaded tots are so good, the beans work perfect in there. Have never had a bad smoke flavor from this place. Definitely some solid, real bbq"
"WOW!!! Meat fell OFF THE BONE...everything was cooked to perfection, fresh, so much flavor. Portion sizes are great (ribs, coleslaw, collard greens, egg roll, and the potato ball) literally every item is so fantastic, I thought my grandmother from down south was alive again...Can't wait to order again."

"Tastes decent but gives you barely any bbq sauce, not worth the price"
"Brisket is below average. The beef is a flavorless, low quality and is soaked in fat (and still is somewhat dry, which usually means it was previously frozen). Corn bread is barely above county jail. Mac n Cheese is no good… Kraft blows theirs away. Very expensive for what it is. These other people giving reviews must not go out much or rarely get bbq….and a “chef” started this restaurant? (I see why he was fired from his previous employer.) “Em,” the previous reviewer from 2 months ago, is correct. Terrible bbq. Famous Dave’s is LIGHT YEARS better… this is quite likely the worst bbq I’ve ever had."
Smokey Mac & Cheese
Blue Kuna’s Smokey Mac & Cheese- shouted out by the Detroit Free Press- is the side our regulars call “creamy,” “smoky,” and “crazy good,” loaded with sharp cheddar and Gouda for serious comfort in every bite.
$6.36
Baby Back Ribs
Named a Detroit Free Press Best New Restaurant of 2026, and the ribs are a big reason why.
Blue Kuna's Dry-Rubbed Baby Back Ribs are the meatiest, most tender ribs in Southeast Michigan.
Forget the skimpy, over-sauced portions at other barbecue restaurants—these are authentic, pitmaster-crafted "dry" ribs built for the true barbecue purist. We let the sheer quality of the meat and the mastery of the smoke speak for themselves.
$30.69
Smoked Brisket
The undisputed crowd favorite - and the first to disappear. Slow-smoked until fork-tender, our brisket falls apart at the touch - rich, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor from the first bite to the last. A dark, peppery bark on the outside, a visible pink smoke ring all the way through.
Blue Kuna has earned a near-perfect online rating, and the brisket is the reason people arrive at 12 PM on a Saturday. Order early - it regularly sells out by mid-afternoon.
$23.36
Pulled Pork
Smoked low and slow until the meat reaches that state where it practically falls apart at the touch of a fork. Pairs with any of Blue Kuna's house-crafted sauces, sides, or stands fully on its own.

"I ordered Nikola’s Wing-dings and Ground Beef Nachos. They were delicious. I'll be eating off of these for a couple of days. They give you a pretty good amount to satisfy you and definitely make sure that you're full. The food is delicious as always. If you want bang for your buck eat here where quantity meets quality and flavor. I'm disappointed that I didn't take pictures."
"Clearly, Nikola's is new to the delivery process. They failed to enclose a receipt. The delivery bag was not sealed and anyone could open the bag and tamper with the food. The lid on the greens had been cut. Although the portions were large, the greens, mac&cheese and baked beans had been watered down and everything had leaked into the box they were packed in. The chicken was crispy and tender. The red sauce was either hot sauce or bbq sauce. Too sweet for hot sauce, but too watery for bbq sauce. Undecided about future orders."

"Haven't ordered from SLO's in awhile and I had forgotten how good it is! The Classic Rib-Eye* my husband had was amazing! My Slow-Roasted Tri-Tip Entree* was incredible and perfectly cooked! The asparagus was great too! Ordered the Couscous Mac & Cheese Balls* for the first time, sooo good!! Our Dasher was wonderful as well! SLO's does not disappoint! "
"Incredible quality for the price. Cooked perfectly. Classic Rib-Eye* was medium as ordered. Green beans were cooked but still crisp. Baked potato was HUGE. Spinach And Artichoke Dip was made from scratch. And as a bonus the soda I ordered was a large fountain soda and was only $1.95 most places try to charge $2 for a can. I am impressed and will order again for sure!"

"Best door dash order I've had in a while! I ordered the Classic Sirloin* - 6oz, cooked perfectly to my liking(medium rare), it was tender & juicy. I had a side of the loaded mashed potatoes, one of my favorite sides & it did not disappoint! Also, a side of corn on the cob which was wrapped in foil which kept it hot & was still steaming when it got to me, it was buttered up with some salt & pepper as well. Delicious meal altogether. 😋"
"Insulting quality for a $20 chicken sandwich. They force you to select two sides, then send half a portion of fries on a double order. To make it worse, the breading was completely burnt and incredibly salty—and I actually like salt. The chicken itself was overcooked, and the tomato was the size of a silver dollar. The only redeeming quality was the ranch, which was actually good and the best part of the dish, but it wasn't enough to save a terrible experience. I’ve given them multiple chances to get it right, but this will absolutely be my last. Total waste of money."

"I ordered the Garlic Shrimp Combo Meal and the KPOT Veggie Hot Pot, not realizing how very much food they give you. I barely finished the Garlic Shrimp Combo Meal and had to put the hot pot in the fridge for tomorrow. Unlike some other restaurants that serve noodles and broth, KPOT puts the broth in its own container so you don't end up with mush by the time your food gets to you, and I am able to save it for tomorrow. The Garlic Shrimp Combo Meal was SO SO VERY DELICIOUS. The kimchi was just amazing. I absolutely LOVED it. I will be ordering my Korean food from here going forward. The Kimchi had the perfect combination of flavor and spice. I like their kimchi better than the other places I have tried, including supermarket kimchi. I just wish that I had ordered from this restaurant sooner. "
"Food is always excellent! We look forward to our lunch boxes a couple times per month. Excellent taste, nice portion sizes, and always fresh kimchi!"

"Received chicken wing sections(not what is pictured) which didn't taste grilled or seasoned. I only ate 1pc because it was the only small pc. The rest of the chicken was weirdly big. "It was a very good 16 Pieces Chicken Meals. The chicken was moist and not overly seasoned.
Just the right amount, most places are do it too spicy for a midwestern type of fried chicken.
This is just as good as the one place near Plymouth i usually go to, also way better then Mary's was in Howell when they were open. "
