"Excellent!....For context, I ordered from them when they first opened, but the food did not agree with us. We are Peruvian cuisine fans and at that time it felt they were using MSG. I have since recently ordered 3 times and I can see the improvement. I would recommend keeping the new chef. Great flavors, excellent portions and prompt service. Best peruvian food in the area. Definitely recommend it. By the way, the Green sauce is the best I have ever had!!"
"We order from here at least once a week. the Papa A La Huancaína is absolutely delicious! my hduband is obsessed with the sauce. the Ají Verde is my favorite and I always order extra to use on food for the week. we ordered the Filete De Pescado Al Grill O Empanizado for the first time and the portion was huge andthr fish was so fresh and fried to perfection!! 10/10"

"The food was absolutely fantastic! The chicken breast was cooked perfectly juicy, flavorful, and seasoned just right. You cannot really tell from the photo, but the portions were huge it came with four large chicken breasts, way more than I expected. The rice was also amazing, full of flavor and the perfect texture. The maduros were good, but compared to how incredible the chicken and rice were, they did not stand out as much. Still, everything came together for a really delicious and satisfying meal!"

"The portions are so small and expensive.
The food is not appealing and the packaging was messed up because the steak was mixed with the ceviche juice. They should have been in separate bags.
The tostones were not fresh but from a tostone snack bag.
The lemonade was not fresh either. It was from a soda fountain.
The potato was not completely cooked.

"The pork chops were very dry and partially burnt. The beans were invisible. There was like 12 beans in a large container full to the rim with juice. After I scooped out the beans , the container was still full. The only thing good about this waste of money, was the white rice and the muduros"

"Did not get the rice that usually comes with the chicken stew, paid $17 for only chicken wings because that's what was in the bag. Speaking of bag, when it was delivered, it was greasy from the sauce spilling over. the potato salad tasted bland and warm as well. this restaurant used to have very good quality food. "I've ordered from many different Colombian restaurants and I dont like this one. The chicharrón wasn't crispy enough and had huge chunks of fat more than anything. "3rd time picking up from here and loved it each time. Had the Mofongo de Camarones en Salsa de Ajo / Shrimp Mofongo in Garlic Sauce and Bistec Salteado / Sautéed Steak this time. Both were done perfect. Their Empanada de Carne / Beef Empanada is one of the best tasting empanadas in the Woodbridge area. So many other local places fall short. I just wish they sold their beans as a large order. I could eat their beans and white rice every day."

"The Pernil Family Meal + Large Rice & Beans + Side was an Amazing choice. The meat taste was soo flavorful and tender. The rice was cooked perfect and the beans were seasoned as deliciously. The portion was good, I would have liked a larger amount of bean but overall , LOVED IT!"
"I was excited to try Meson Tropical, but this order was disappointing. The food was packaged in foil trays and did not travel well, which affected the presentation and overall dining experience.
The biggest issue was the quality of the meats. The fried pork belly was extremely overcooked, dry, and tough to chew, and the meat in the mini Meson bowl was similarly overdone. Rather than tasting fresh and juicy, the meats seemed as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period. More importantly, the dishes lacked the bold seasoning and authentic Latin flavors I expected from a Puerto Rican/Dominican restaurant. The food was bland and did not have the homemade Caribbean taste that makes this cuisine special.
The Spring Meson Chicken Salad and Cod Fish were also underseasoned and uninspiring. The alcapurria was terrible—dry, flavorless, and nothing like a freshly made alcapurria should taste. The Passionfruit Mango Madness drink was forgettable and did not stand out. The stuffed potato ball was the only item I genuinely enjoyed.
Overall, the meal lacked consistency and flavor. I was expecting fresh, well-seasoned dishes that reflected the rich and vibrant tastes of Latin cuisine, but unfortunately this experience missed the mark. I hope improvements are made because the menu has a lot of potential."

"Would be a five if they explained more into what im getting. In other words paying 4.25 for one item and not how many the pictures show. Over though food is very good so despite that I would just go in person "
"Wouldn order again. The beef empanada is extremely dry and mostly just the dough, barely any filling.
The beef quibe is so dry I couldn’t eat it, it crumbled down on my mouth, it was over fried.
The chicken balls are also extremely dry, even the one with catupiry. It’s like all the fillings were overcooked and nothing is moist or pleasant to bite.
The dessert don’t make it better either. The passion fruit mousse tastes like it’s made from powder juice and jelly, the texture is not moussy, yet firm, and the taste is sour but nothing like passion fruit. The coconut flan tasted like plastic, like it had been sitting on the fridge on a open container and it accumulated the taste of the fridge air. Very sad with this order, it was disastrous.
The ham and cheese croquette was good, I would say because the cheese gives that moist necessary and ham’s got natural liquid in it.
The shrimp croquette was good, and not as dry, but only 2 small pieces of shrimp on a snack bigger than my fist."

"The tacos were loaded to the brim with the toppings that I wanted. They taste fresh and were delicious but a little bit dry. The chocolate empanadas also tasted great and were filled with chocolate. I would come here again, especially for the taco combo which is a great deal"
"We had a chicken burrito and a 3 taco set. The burrito was a little smaller than expected, maybe 4 x 3. It was tasty, but a little disappointing being so small for almost 12 dollars. I was surprised the rice beans and plantains were all in my tacos but it still tasted good. Everything had lots of flavor but the tacos needed just a little salt. We will be ordering again. "

"The Turkey Pesto Panini was delicious. Fresh , well prepared . Almond Pastry was good . Coffee was amazing ! Really good , however , it was sent without sticker or tape to secure coffee . Its a safety heath issue . Had they sent coffee in a safetymanner , I would have given Melao , a well deserved 5 stars! Thanks! "
"I have been getting food here everyday for the past week, it has been wonderful each time the Grilled Cheese with Bacon, tomatoes is always hot and fresh, I ordered the BOGO deal but I think 1 would have been enough with my Fruit Bowl. I have since gotten many different sandwiches, teas, and smoothies (the blueberry is my favorite) which were all delicious and very fresh."

"The Chilaquiles and Bacon,Egg& Cheese were so delicious!!! First time ordering def a 10/10 ! "
"The dish ordered was significantly disappointing. The pupusas were notably dry with an unappetizingly texture. The filling lacked the expected cheese and beans, just greasy chunks of meat in the center, and all three items were consistent in this poor preparation. Furthermore, the accompanying curtido (encurtido) consisted of dry, hard cabbage and pickled onions that were entirely unseasoned. The overall lack of authentic flavor rendered the dish unsatisfactory and inedible. I will not be ordering this item again!"
