The same is true of the vanilla cake. Given the cake is at the bottom under everything else, it means your final impression of the dessert is ruined by the carelessly made cake.
Not everything is bad, though. The toppings we tried were all really good and not very sweet. We didn't have any of the cereal toppings. The strawberry syrup was probably the stand out topping. It tastes like real strawberries and isn't cloyingly sweet. The jars are real glass, so you can cut off the plastic Breaking Batter label and reuse them. I'm happy they didn't use plastic jar bodies.
