"I ordered from Everest Curry for the first time tonight. I opted to try the vegetable pakora because I had a craving for something fried and crunchy. There was a discount of 30% up to a total of $7.00, so I also ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala which was also a discounted dish. Since I was very hungry, I opted to add the $6.95 charge for the full thali. My goodness, what a spread! In addition to the large serving of chicken tilka masala, the thali included basmati rice with peas, generous portions of two vegetarian side dishes, naan, and two types of chutney- mint and tamarind. Every bite of everything was delicious and deeply satisfying. And everything was hot and tasted as if it just came off the stove. The Chicken Tikka Masala was rich tasting, not spicy but full of flavor. The pakora paired with the mint chutney was a taste sensation. "I frequently order from Himalaya, and plan on continuing to, due to the freshness of their food and how it makes my body feel in comparison to other vegan takeout options. They are always accommodating to my special request, for example I get no rice and double my serving of beans. However, I'm not a big fan of the purple seasonal vegetables, they are my least favorite on rotation. To me they taste sour, rather than rich and wholesome like their broccoli or potato mixes. I always try to bypass them, but it's difficult since I do like the other veggies on rotation and you don't exaclty know which one is being served that day."

"I ordered the Chicken curry and Garlic Naan . The taste was perfect they had good flavor but the price for the value was a thumbs down. the dish came in a very small quart type size container with about four pieces of chicken that seemed more like a chicken nugget size in the sauce although great tasting served more like a soup with a couple chicken pieces. for the price to what you receive I think could definitely be improved. I'd love to see maybe an addition of maybe a side of rice or something. with other competition and restaurants willing to ensure price to value I don't see myself returning. the dish looked nothing like the picture. If you're trying to decide between two places I would definitely try another place. I'm judging based on the portion in the amount paid for that portion."

"Fire pure Fire! This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Sacramento County. It's defiantly a place that you want to put on your foodie bucket list.
