I was convinced when I saw how it was presented as a delivery. The chicken was laid over slices of onions and in the other section of the container, was mixed lettuce varieties and lemon wedges. "First time trying Habibi's. Ordered Sunday for lunch and items came quickly and warm. We were hesitant to try because of the cost, but my normal go to shawarma is all the way in Castroville.
The Beef & Lamb Shawarma Wrap and Chicken Shawarma Wrap are great portion sizes! Meat inside was well done and tasty (authentic lamb and you can taste it). Not overstuffed with rice like most places. Wrap comes with a tahini garlic sauce and pickled spicy sauce (which was just delicious).
Baba ganoush had a wonderful deep rich flavor with the pickled vegetables on top. If you're skeptical about price but want to try it, I'd say Habibis is worth the splurge. I'll be trying a shawarma plate next time I order."
