The berries were not an afterthought like other salads.
The balsamic vinaigrette was perfect for the salad and didn't overwhelm any other ingredient like can often be the case with certain vinaigrettes. It actually complemented both the berries and the chicken making them better.
I wish every salad could be as good as this one.

The brownie chunks in the crepe were a tad dry, which I think bolstered its part in the crepe because it balanced out the wetness from the whipcream and the banana. The brownie also had more of a cocoa-forward flavour, and it wasn't as sweet as other brownies I've had, which further balanced the sweetness of the crepe.
The Five Star General Taro 芋頭太忙 is one of the best drinks I've had from any boba tea shop. I added coconut jelly and lychee jelly and chose the Half Sugar sweetness option. Balanced and creamy on its own, the coconut and lychee jelly both added a nice refreshing feel to the palate and the dense, chewy texture jelly was satisfying for the entirety of the drink.
The Chocolate Brownie 巧克力布朗尼 is the same brownie used in the crepe. Cocoa-forward and only subtly sweet, it pairs well with what I ordered. As far as brownies go, it's a bit dry so it crumbles nicely in your mouth. If you like moister brownies, I'd recommend getting a beverage to go with it.
All in all, quality food and drink at reasonable prices. I look forward to ordering again."
