"the blue lemonade is fire! one of the best greens i've had and it doesn't even have meat in it. i’ve ordered from here before months prior and they still meet my expectations, everything is just flavorful and the BEST customer service hands down! shout out to the boss lady!"
"Mac. And cheese would have been better if the elbows wasn't overcooked; Mac had a mushy texture. Yams were good but the fried chicken was chewy and stringy didn't have a fresh taste ! I wouldn't pay 30 for this again "

"This was my first order from this restaurant. I ordered Oxtails and Jerk Pork with Bread. It was worth every penny!!!! I know the oxtails are expensive...food inflation is no joke. However, I rather restaurants raise their prices than keeping it the same and giving you 2 oxtails. The portions are worth the prices and the food was DELICIOUS!!! They also followed my comments "exactly". The food was fresh and hot and packed very well. Sometimes you get what you pay for. I never thought I would ever pay 20 bucks for oxtails but it surely was worth it. And the jerk pork was so tasty and juicy. NOT unflavored and dried out like other Jamaican jerk restaurants. I was hesitant to order the pork but I'm glad I did. Thank you for a "hefty, scrumptious, and fresh dinner". This is my new jerk Jamaican spot. "
"The Stew Pork was 50% bones and 25% thick chunks of fat. only a small amount was meat.Macaroni and Cheese is a3 inch square of hard elbowmacaroni with some burnt cheese on top. very disappointed."

"This Rasta Pasta is worth every dollar! The portion is honestly 2+ servings and it tastes so good. The salmon is throughly cooked and a bit crispy which I like and there's a good amount of veggies too. "
"The fish was packaged superbly. And the fish very meaty. I would have preferred a bit more seasoning however for steamed red snapper. My past orders of steamed red snapper were always delicious( fish seasoned and steamed well) so this was the first exception. Fish N Tings is known for their steamed fish so I will be ordering again. "I've been eating from Blue Cantina for years and their food is always good but last nights fried chicken and rice and peas was the absolute best that I've ever had.. "Pasta with Jerk Chicken was fresh and very good. At first I was a little skeptical but getting this dish was a good choice. The jerk chicken is cut up for you with some good pieces and a choice of bbq sauce on top of the Pasta with Jerk Chicken. Would deff get again. "
"I order from here often, but this particular order was perfect. The chicken had enough sauce on it, the rice had enough gravy on it, and I was not able to take a photo of the festival, but it was big and really good a little oily, but still good
I could tell the food was made fresh and I would definitely order this again."

"I feel like every time i have ordered from here the food quality gets worse and worse. Little food for the amount charged. "First time ordering here. I had been having a difficult time finding a good Dominican restaurant ever since we moved to Yonkers and it looks like I've finally found it! The food was packaged well. No smashed eggs. Good portions. We ordered the Four Combination & Triple Combination & one Pastelitos to try it out. Everything was delicious. The food was nice & hot. Seasoned well. Will definitely be ordering from here again."
"I was hoping our dinner was going to be as good as the breakfast I've previously ordered from here. Unfortunately, such was not to be the case. The Grilled pork Chops were okay, but they were not equal portions. One looked anaemic and anorexic. The Mofongo roasted Pork was flavourful but it was dry. And they forgot to include the sauce for the mofongo. When I called, the woman I spoke to just said, "Oh, we forgot the sauce." She didn't apologise nor did she offer any alternative or anything.
The beans 16 0z were more sauce than actual beans. The Pastelitos were the best item we ordered.
Suffice it to say, we were dissatisfied overall."

They always give extra portions which I appreciate so much and I hope they never stop. The pricing is fair and the freshness , packaging , flavor , and everything are cooked to perfection. My only critique would be a little less on the salt , but that preference varies from person to person. I could order from this place every week if I wanted to. Keep up the great work ! Keep feeding the hard working families with the extra portions !"
"Terrible!
After waiting for almost one hour, when I received the food, is so salty that I can't even swallow it.
The eggs are so hard that the fork couldn't hold.
The salami so thin that they made 3 very small pieces from one piece.

I had been ordering from Malecon until I was told one price but charged more on my card! That wasn't nice! The girl at the register at Malecon talks really fast and hangs up on you before you can finish your order. She needs a class on patience and customer service. Anyways, Latin Corner was way more tasty. I had ordered mofongo con pollo. Price is good. Tastes like a home cooked meal. Lady that took my order was educated and knowledgeable!"

"The first time we tried Makondo it was delicious and flavorful. Both times we ordered the Bandeja Paisa. However the second time was terrible. Im not sure if they changed chefs but there was no flavor in the food. There was barely any seasoning especially in the beans. They were bland and needed salt. "Delicious breakfast! I ordered Ackee & Salt Fish and Cornmeal and Oats Mixed porridge for breakfast from two different places, 2 days in a row. I hated the other place. But St. Bess was fantastic! The porridge had a good consistency and a nice level of sweetness to it. The oats balanced the cornmeal beautifully. And the Ackee & Salt Fish was super flavorful, seasoned beautifully, and had a subtle heat to it that I didn't expect. I'll definitely order again."
"Oxtail was cooked and season two perfection, rice and peas was nice and shelly."

"I really love this place. They are very efficient. The food is always delicious, it's always hot and fresh and I get plenty of it."
"DO NOT ORDER COMBOS EXPECTING FAMILY SIZED PORTIONS! This order was a perfect example of shrink-flation. The food tasted good, however, it was not worth the price we paid. Despite having a 15% off coupon, our order came out to $40.52 (we only ordered combo #5). This was a bit more expensive than all Spanish food restaurants we’ve purchased this same order from, but we decided to give it a try thinking that we would be receiving the standard family sized portions that other restaurants serve. We were surprised to see that although the rice came in the normal large container, the chicken chunks and beans both came in containers almost half the size of the standard containers. That being said, the food was good and I would’ve absolutely purchased from this restaurant again if their portions were standard sizes, but with these smaller portions, it’s just not worth the price. My family had a ton of rice, but barely any chicken and beans to go around.
To be fair, they don’t specify their combos as “family” combos, but they still call it a “combo” like other restaurants. Don’t be fooled like me and don’t order from this restaurant expecting the normal family-sized portions. But if you’re fine with the price and smaller portions, then go for it!"
