Mashed potatoes were super fancy looking, whole dish was filling, no complaints. Growler I can't believe it was $8. That's 32oz of brew AND a sweet container you can save and reuse. Fries were fries. Tipperary Irish Stew was thick. Tasty, but thick. I honestly couldn't eat most of it because the pie filled me up to capacity, but had I known the stew was going to be so meaty (I was thinking the stew would be more soupy than anything) I probably wouldn't have got it as a backup in case I was still hungry. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty, I was just thinking that the stew wouldn't be as substantial as it was. This place is hands down the most pleasant surprise I've ever found on doordash in 2 years of traveling over the road. "The highlight of the meal was the Bourbon Peppercorn Glazed Meatloaf, more specifically the hint of heat I got from the chorizo (or honestly it could've been heat from the Bama Firecracker sauce, either way it was an appreciated add) but there wasn't a lick of bourbon glaze, so I missed out on that flavor component. I chose mashed potatoes and green beans as sides, and while the potatoes were smooth, they desperately needed salt and pepper; the butter was there, though, and it will coat your tongue (if you like that, as it was a little much for me). I enjoyed the smokiness of the bacon in the green beans, but they also lacked salt. The biggest letdown was the For the Love of Cobb (GF). You cannot use guacamole as a substitute for fresh avocado, mainly because of the texture and flavor variance.
Additionally, the tomatoes didn't taste fresh, which turned me off the dish entirely. I’m going to hit like on this order because I can't just give it an OK (as I don't necessarily hate it, but there are enough negatives that a like doesn't feel fair either), but I won't be ordering from here again. Oh, the bag was secure, and everything was packed well, which is also a plus."

"We recently ordered from 30Hop and had the best meal! Our food arrived exactly as we ordered it and looked even better than the pictures. The Salmon Zen Bowl was one of the best rice bowls I've ever had with a large piece of well seasoned salmon and full of many different fresh veggies. The sandwiches were cooked to perfection and loaded with fresh ingredients. The portions were definitely more than we could eat and tasted great the next day. We can't wait to order from 30Hop again and try more of their amazing food! A great location and a must visit if you are in Ankeny!"
"First time customer, and unfortunately, more of the items I ordered were disappointing than enjoyable.
The Wings: Boneless was easily the best item. I actually ended up using it as the protein for the noodle dish because the crispy chicken that came with the Yakisoba Bowl had a strange texture and wasn’t enjoyable. I’m glad I ordered the boneless wings because they gave me an alternative.
The Truffle Fries were also disappointing. You could smell a slight hint of truffle oil, and you could clearly see the cheese on top, but there was very little flavor overall. They tasted bland and didn’t resemble the truffle fries I’ve had elsewhere.
The Very Berry Salad was another miss. The yogurt based dressing (I’m assuming that’s what it was) was extremely sweet. At first, I honestly thought it was a diluted icing because it was that sweet. I couldn’t eat it. The balsamic that came with it was also extremely thick, almost like a paste or molasses. It just didn’t feel appropriate for a lighter salad with fruit. The dressing should complement the dish rather than overpower it.
Unfortunately, overall, this was not a successful purchase, and I wouldn’t order from here again.
One other thing worth mentioning: there was plenty of room in my bag to properly secure it with staples or tape. It’s always disappointing when a restaurant misses that simple opportunity to provide an additional layer of security and reassurance that the order hasn’t been tampered with. Staples and a stapler are inexpensive, so this seems like an easy step that could improve the customer experience."
