I've always eaten the #7 for its aromatic, perfectly salty, and slightly sweet flavours. The beef just melts in your mouth, the broth is so wonderful, it's almost soothing. I eat it during the colder months, and it's absolutely worth it after walking there in the cold.
This year I had tried something new, and personally that not hard. With this place though, I thought "the sheer quality of this soup can't be matched", and then I got the 14. It's been getting very hot, too hot for soup no matter how delicious it is. The sauce is oily, mostly sweet, tangy, a bit salty. The sauce is perfectly balanced. The cold thin noodles, the seasoned vegetables and chicken are so good when dipped in the sauce, and when paired with the chili oil becomes very refreshing.
These bowls of noodles are well portioned, and in my opinion are satisfying for $17. The soup is especially filling for its price. I love this place so much, I'm a forever customer because the food is so satisfying, I crave it consistently. This white boy has gone to Flavourtown."
