"This is my first time being here with high expectations from how many people frequent the bar - so take my opinions with a grain of salt as someone who's only had this once. The Fried Pickles were amazing, perfect golden brown and appeased my Midwestern wife. The All American Burger was pretty good too, it was cooked well, a classic that was not disappointing -- the Ultimate Blue Crab Burger was mushy like mashed potatoes without any aioli included, it was like a pattie made of uncooked tuna salad. The Toreado Mac & Cheese Burger the beef was mushy inside and out, presumably from the mac n cheese condensation - and the mac n cheese is just a boxed mac with no extra seasoning on it. The White Truffle Parmesan Fries and the Sea Salt Fries were both very cold and were either re-fried after being cooked from how soaked they were in cooking oil, or not properly drained, leaving them with the texture of wet packing foam, no flavor except parmesan and a miniscule amount of white Truffle oil (which makes sense considering the price of legitimate Truffle oil) and salt on the other Fries. The Wings 6-pack, I got Buffalo, was actually very well cooked and not too much sauce like most places do.
All in all for the price I won't be returning for myself, but definitely get the fried Pickles if you know someone from the Midwest."

Most of the Dumplins were tiny pieces (one inch or less) and the juice took up most of the room in the Togo container. Plus they didn't fill the container to the top, just to half the container size. Just wish the "family sized bowl" was made for a family, as a main course... not a tiny side dish of broken up pieces of dumplings with no chicken pieces... Please fix the Dumpling to chicken ratio where you get mainly regular sized dumplings and a decent amount of chicken, would be perfect! Will try again if they fix these issues... "Great portion, would've liked a third egg but just personal preference. Sauce is good, spicy but not super hot. Egg yolk broke before everything but it was still good and to be expected with delivery. I got sunny side up and wife got over easy. Looks like hers held up a bit better so will just to do over easy next time. Delicious though, crispy, fresh, warm, will get it every time."

"Catfish nuggets are amazing. I ordered the mac & cheese the collard greens with turkey. It was really good. I ordered a slice of cake and peach cobbler. They were out of the cake and they so kindly added an extra peach cobbler and another dessert. The portions are worth the price always gonna support a local black business."
"I was so excited to try G’s Cajun House, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The portion size, quality, and overall taste were a major letdown. The food lacked flavor and did not live up to the expectations I had based on the reviews and reputation.
The biggest disappointment was the double crust peach cobbler. It tasted like it may have been left over from the day before—dry, uninspiring, and definitely not worth the $8 price tag, especially in this economy. For that price, I expected something fresh, flavorful, and worth every bite, but it fell far short of expectations.
Overall, the meal was bland and underwhelming. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but the food simply did not deliver on taste, quality, or value."
