"Always on another level! Other local Mediterranean places tend to be very hit-or-miss, but not Ike's. The falafel was crispy on the outside without being dry on the inside. The grilled veggies and salads always show up fresh and not wilted like you sometimes get from delivery. My only criticism would be the chicken that comes with the shawarma and fattoush - while very tasty, the chicken tends to be a little dry. The kebabs do not have the same problem, they are perfectly browned and juicy. The cabbage rolls and grape leaves are always tightly rolled and cooked perfectly. This is my favorite place to order from when people come to visit. There's something for everyone and my vegan friends appreciate the large number of options. Keep up the great work!"

The papardell was NOT al dente, noodles and sauce were watered down and size was small for $8 (full disclosure, I took a few bites before i realized I didn't take a pic of it so it does come w just a bit more than what's in the photo). The Pollo ai Cinque Peperoni (Five Pepper Chicken) was good and the cutlets were crisped to perfection but very small. With all the peppers, it's bursting w flavor. I have a a very high threshold for spice/spicy food and this is mellow to me but prob not to someone who doesn't use a lot of spice in their day to day meals. The sauce is creamy without being heavy. If I order it again, I'd maybe add artichokes to switch it up or give it another texture. Chicken portion def small for the price tho. "

The aromatics were a little overdone, but I can excuse that. The Wok Hei alone is evidence that this establishment employs highly skilled chefs.
