The noodles were acceptable (only a little powdery), but the chicken was like floss (tough, and flavorless; like it was not prepped or marinated at all), spring onion was also flavorless and paper-like, the sprouts tasted acceptable but oxidized (less than fresh, a bit old). The egg was acceptable, but chunky - resulting in a tougher texture and with less sauce able to coat it (the egg was probably cooked in a rush while multitasking - thrown into the wok in a rush, then left to sit and toughen).
Overall, the experience was not terrible, and it was only my first time ordering from ThongLor, and on a Saturday night about an hour from closing. Maybe it was just a bad night."

The beef in the green curry was an odd color like weird red. I had beef in the yellow rice and it was normal colored, but that was not the only problem with the green curry as while the flavor was good when you could taste it the broth was like water, and there was very little actual food in the curry, a handful of onions, bamboo shoots, and a few pieces of beef. There was no richness or thickness to the sauce whatsoever coupled with the very wet, flavorless rice I’m going to pass.

"I've only had Nasi Lemak with cuttlefish or squid, as a breakfast dish. But their perfectly crispy, lightly curried chicken fits in just fine. The coconut-cream rice is of course the whole point of the dish, and they get that right. Along with all the traditional sides, even the crunchy dried anchovies (mixed in with the roasted peanuts). Any worries that moving to the Metreon food court would mean making their menu blander and more generic were completely dispelled;
