I wanted Jamaican food, so I had originally called quite a few restaurants before I picked JamaicaVibes. I spoke to the cook & customer service rep, Joel. When I asked him about certain food items, he told me that he had them. These were the items that the other restaurants didn't have at all or at the time. In addition, if he didn't have it, he would cook them for me. He trusted me without me even making my first purchase. "This was my first time ordering but I'll be back. The food was fresh & delicious. Many Jamaican restaurants run out of food or don't have the menu items but I received everything I ordered. The wings were large and flavorful. The lunch platters were delicious but we didn't get much meat with it (maybe two or three pieces). The meat that was included was tender & not too spicy. All of the sides were tasty but the portions were a little small. The desserts were excellent and definitely worth trying. The food is expensive but it's good quality. I will reorder as a splurge but it won't be in my regular rotation due to the price."

"I love their jerk chicken, but I also have not tried anything else, because I am just obsessed with jerk chicken. Their candied yams are my absolute favorite, and I do like their plantains. The first photo is the Large Jerk Chicken meal with Rice and Peas, Yams, and extra sauce on the side. I also ordered a side of yams, in the photo I used a can of seltzer for size comparison. All sides come in the same size container. Some day I will try something else from here... some day! "

"I really wanted to like this place. The Chicken Patty was quite plain to begin the meal. The Curry Chicken Meal was somewhat dry and was very expensive for chicken and rice and side. I don't have a problem paying for good food but this was mediocre at best. The Oxtail Meal - Medium was the best thing but of course there could've been more oxtail. The flavor was there with the brown gravy and a little hint of spice but it was mostly bones. And sadly, most of the pieces seemed like they just put the oxtail into the pot and do not fall off the bone easily. Even ripping it off the bone with my teeth still left meat on the bone which shows you it was not slow cooked long enough as it would come cleanly off the bone. Unfortunately, I would not get again based on quality and price point"
