"I order the Carne Asada Steak Fries 2-3 times a week. For Tonight's order, the Carne was overcooked with a few burnt pieces. It was edible but not up to Del Taco standards, and definitely not for the price I paid. I also ordered 2 regular Real Strawberry Sprite® drinks. Tonight they weren't filled to the level they should be, and they were pretty skimpy on the strawberries. This seems to happen on Saturdays. My orders during the week are fine, but the Saturday afternoon/early evening crew needs to be retrained or something. "I have been enjoying the Burritos and Tacos from here for the last two years. I routinely order the Carnitas with extra meat, onions & cilantro, sour cream, and red salsa - and that combination is always a winner. It's also big enough to have half for lunch and the other half for dinner!
I was shocked to read some negative reviews - I've tried almost everything on the menu and loved all of them - but I really prefer their carnitas tacos and Burritos.
I frequently request extra ice in my drinks and they never fail to follow my request. Sometimes they send a small cup of ice along with my Large Drink and I really appreciate that extra service!
