"I ordered my drink iced and received it hot, but I couldn't even be mad. This is the first good chai latte I've had since moving to Portland, and their zucchini muffin and turnover were both absolutely delicious. Will definitely be ordering from here again the next time I need a morning pick-me-up!"
"The kickstarter Kickstart Breakfast Sandwich isn't much to write home about. The ratio of dense bun to the rest of ingredients leaves a lot to be desired. It's honestly cheaper and arguably better to get a couple of sausage egg McMmuffins from the golden arches and come away more satisfied.

"The bagel was basic/good. Nothing extraordinary. Could've used more lox & capers.

Hand-Scooped Ice-Cream Shakes™ was as usual creamy real vanilla ice cream shake delectable!
*We both wish that you had the option to add malt--- both for flavor and health!*
Single Famous Star® my husband complimented my adding extra toppings like mayo, ketchup, mustard, special sauce and caramelized onions--declaring "whatever you added do it again."
He really enjoyed the taste and texture of the caramelized onions, which only added a little over 60 cents, while the other extra toppings were free!
Natural-Cut French Fries were crisp, freshly fried and still quite warm. Medium my husband's usual portion.
Because of consistency in its excellent quality ingredients and its skilled preparation for great flavor, Carl's Jr remains our favorite for a quick, healthier, fast food treat."
"The burger order was fast and fresh!
The Single Star was hot and juicy with all expected condiments and veggies but hubby always adds catsup, cracked pepper and Dijon for extra zap!
My California Classic Double Cheeseburger was just the right size for me altho I did add a bit of Dijon for extra zest.Love the grilled onions.
The quality of meat is a hallmark of Carl's burgers and we will continue to return here for great burgers!"

"This Non-Veg Biryani (Lamb, Goat, Chicken, Shrimp) is quite simply the richest, most authentic oniony and well spiced biryani in Portland and that includes the fancy spots. I've been to them all. Moreover, cooked by Indian immigrants and the store owner has been a fixture of the community for about a decade before the door opened here. I believe the name of the restaurant translates roughly to "food is love" and I think you're gonna feel that if you try it for yourself."
"Spicy is just that, thank you it was perfect.

"I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. I finally ordered the Aloo Gobi (Cauliflower and Potato) and was not disappointed! Authentic, delicious Indian flavors. I will definitely order again."
"This one makes me miss the star system because this is a pretty clear 2/5, but I did still "like" it; the Garlic naan was very dry and tough, most likely because my order somehow took almost an hour to cook. I would not recommend the naan.
Chicken Pakoda is nice enough but it's very mildly seasoned and somewhat dry; the flavor is hinted for sure, it's just mostly dryish chicken. I feel like I had no frame of reference for other Pakoda I would've enjoyed this a lot more, it's just disappointing relatively. I could see the mild seasoning being a draw to some as well!
The (veggie) Pakoda was the stand out here for me, a really nice crunch that goes well with the sauces.
On the subject of those sauces, they were fine but a bit weak on flavor. I appreciate that they labeled the hot one! I took the kid off but was not courageous enough once I smelled the pure heat coming off the red slurry.
Would I order it again? It's a tough question, so keep that part in mind, but probably not."

"The Paneer Samosa are utterly scrumptious and the Chicken Korma has a delicately delicious flavor. Definitely my new favorite Indian Food eestablishmen."
"The Malai Kofta was super mediocre, worst I've had. The kofta itself wasn't bad except there was onion skins in it so you got this papery bits from time to time. The gravy was unseasoned and tasted like nothing, no spice or flavor. The Vegetable Biryani was okay, I liked the variety of vegetables in it, but again it was so bland and I had to add salt to it to get it to taste like anything. The Alu Paratha was doughy and tasted raw, especially the edges, barely any potato filling. The Samosa Chaat was good, the chana masala and chutneys were nice, but it was again very dry & the quantity of chutneys was so low. I wish they had also added more toppings, chopped onions, cilantro, and sev. Portion sizes were decent but overall I would not recommend this place."

"My family has been getting India over for two decades now and it’s our absolute favorite. It’s family owned and the matriarch of the family is the cook, and she grinds spices fresh on the spot for each dish!"
"I love this spot but the Lamb Vindaloo Curry was disappointing this time - five or so massive chunks of potato and only two fairly small cubes of lamb. If that's the distribution, I wouldn't recommend spending this much on a dish that's primarily potatoes.
Everything else was a delight and portions were decent."
