"Everything was delicious. The Black Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen is a huge portion, honestly enough fort two to share. I appreciate that they package the broth separately so nothing gets soggy and you can add as you go if you want. The Pan-Seared Pork Gyoza (6 pcs) are also great, very typical and what youd expect. The Steamed XiaoLongBao (8pcs) are little packages of bite-sized deliciousness. Each dumpling sits inside its own tiny tin. There is a small tender meatball inside each one as well as a tasty broth. Eat it all in one bite or the broth will escape. These are served with a chili diping sauce. The sauce has an earthy chili flavor with a mild heat that accentuates the dumpling nicely. Well worth the cost!
The Tempura Shrimp (6 pcs) sticks were a little over cooked and very greasy. They lost the tender delicate crisp I am used to when I have made or ordered them from other places. Although they still had a good flavor the cook spoiled it. Overall the value was still there with the quantity and flavor.
Tornado Potato was som I just had to try. I can see this being a really tasty side but sadly it was a grease sponge. Great presentation and flavor but poor execution. Perhaps the grease was too cool but the bag was very translucent and my fingers were super greasy trying to pull pieces off the stick. Getting hold of a disk would squish grease out. The upside is that it was really well seasoned.
Hopefully the overcooked Tempura Shrimp (6 pcs)and the super greased slogged Tornado Potatoeere just a one time mis-step. I may have to try them again just to see. "

"This is the best pad Thai in Salem. I've literally tried it all. It always arrives pipping hot and the ingredients always taste fresh. Some places on doordash dont even let you choose your spice level, which should be a crime. I love spicy food and have a high tolerance. I always add 3 or 4 stars for spice and it clears the sinuses--Thai Cuisine of Salem doesn't mess around when it comes to giving their food that extra kick. They don't overdo it with the sweet flavoring--it's the perfect blend of sweet, savory and heat. I'm drooling just talking about it. I usually get beef for my protein and it's always perfectly cooked and seasoned--nice and tender.
I know they're expensive. I promise it's worth it. I'm always disappointed when I order Pad Thai anywhere else and always regret not ordering from Thai Cuisine of Salem. They hook you up with a generous portion.

"Singapore Rice Noodles, despite what the menu says, are not super spicy. They are made with yellow (the mildest) curry powder, and are more savory than hot. A bonus for the allergic: rice noodles are naturally gluten-free. There was plenty of chinese-style pork and shrimp in the entree. If you like noodle dishes but don't like a lot of heat, this one's for you.

My son and husband had the chicken burrito special which is a small chicken burrito with rice and beans for $5.99 which is a great deal. It doesn't come with a drink though, fyi. My husband said it was really good but my son only liked the rice. The part that upset me was I paid $2.75 for 4 oz of spicy hot sauce. They forgot to put it in my bag and I hate dry burritos. So my husband had to go pick it up and they didn't even give us like a free churro or something for the inconvenience. We literally could have saved over $12 in tip and fees (they have one of the highest service fees) by just getting it to go. But we didn't want to go anywhere. The sauce wasn't even that good. Not a happy customer! The other thing was we got chips, cheese, and guac. The guac was good but the chips just had some melted cheese on top in a pile and the chips tasted stale. "The food was disappointing and mediocre at best. Portion size was good but doesn't make up for taste. We got Egg Foo Young and Mu Shu Pork.
The Foo Young appeared to be institutional premade patties that they just heat and put the gravy on. Super spongy and zero texture. I can remember getting foo young that was house made and had bean spritz in them for texture and ut was not like biting into a sponge. You get three patties and before the first one is finished the gag reflex kicked in. Seriously, it was just so texturally wrong! The gravy was typical brown gravy for this dish.
The Mu Shu pork had premade rice wraps. I've never had square ones before. They have always come round or oblong fue to the pour but that was the pre made giveaway...all the same uniform shape and size.
The veggies were fresh and crispy but there was no seasoning. It was like eating barely heated raw shredded cabbage with chopped dried out BBQ pork. That's the only thing that was flavored and the pieces were super dry and chewy.
The hoisin sauce came in packets and they only gave 2 packets but 5 wraps. Go figure.
Thankfully there was a jar of hoisin in the cupboard and tamari sauce in the fridge.
I will have to continue my search for authentic Asian cuisine in Salem."

"The beef plate is a good value, there was a good amount of flavorful rice, good tasting diced beef, a small green salad with lettuce and delicious hummus and tzaziki. The food was packaged well and plastic utensils were also sent. TheDamascus chicken pita was big, enough for a second meal and very flavorful. The Baklava was one of the better tasting dessert I have tasted. The phyllo dough was crunchy, the nuts had a good flavor, and just enough honey to make it craveable but not coyingly sweet.
