"Liked everything overall taste wise, but they are really getting cheap with the chicken in the Katsu. I've had it many times before in the past and there is almost no chicken now compared to how much was included in past orders. I got a good amount of Katsu slices, but it was pretty much nothing but breading. My cat likes chicken and I tried pulling some apart from the breading to share, but the "chicken" that was included was too thin to even separate, which hasn't been a problem before. Still tasted good overall, but too expensive for the minuscule amount of chicken that you actually get. Definitely getting the island fire chicken again, but will likely pass on ordering the Chicken Katsu from now on."
"I normally love the katsu chicken here—it’s usually so good! Unfortunately, this order was disappointing. The chicken was much crispier than usual and felt overcooked. I also called ahead and specifically asked for no vegetables and extra macaroni salad, but my order still came with a lot of vegetables and only four scoops of macaroni salad. I order from here because I genuinely enjoy the food, so I’m hoping this was just an off day and that special requests can be followed more carefully next time."

"Let me start by saying, this is not my first time eating here but, it has been over a year. I used to get huge portions of food. Although the food arrived quite expeditiously from the time I placed my order, it wasn't as warm as I was expecting. The one rib I got was cold and the beef was room temperature. Also, the beef was a combo of chopped and small quarters, which I wasn't expecting. I was hoping for full bite-sized pieces. My chicken was tender but semi-dry in some pieces. I'm not certain of I ordered on a bad day but, my food has always been piping hot when I got it home (I live minutes from the restaraunt). I was also disappointed in the portions. In the past, I had enough food for two servings. However, not today. Seems like everywhere else; prices go up and portions go down. My scoops of rice and macaroni were so small, I couldn't believe my eyes. I may try again but it will be a moment due to my disappointment."
