Was out early doin’ the rounds on the property when I swung by Wendy’s for a quick feed. Had me the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit and the Sausage, Egg & Swiss Croissant Combo, washed it all down with a cold Sprite.
Now that chicken biscuit bloody good, that one. The chicken was crispy as a fresh-pressed shirt and that honey butter? Sweet as. Biscuit was a bit different to what we call a scone back home, bit more crumbly, but it worked. Real hearty proper stick to your ribs sort of brekkie.
Then there’s the croissant combo sausage, egg, and some kinda Swiss cheese. Fancy, eh? But it all came together nice. The croissant was soft and buttery, sausage had a good bite, and the cheese added that creamy edge. Came with some hash browns too golden and crisp, no complaints there.
Washed it all down with a Sprite. Cold, fizzy, just what I needed after wranglin’ sheep in the dust all morning.

"My 10 Teriyaki wings were delicious! They are not too large nor too small...they were just right! The Chicken Fried rice was good and there was plenty of it. I think next time I'll get plain or shrimp fried rice and ask for extra onion as I found the chicken to be a little dry but that's probably just me. If you haven't tried this place, you need to. "The 4 ct. Tenders were small... waaaaay too small for that price. They didn't have much sauce at all and basically tasted like cooked breaded chicken breast. The 8 ct. Wings were cooked well, but I didn't care for the Carolina BBQ sauce at all. What little flavor it had, it left a bitter aftertaste when it should be sweet and vinegar flavor. The Buffalo sauce on the tenders was good, just not nearly enough of it.

"The biggest issue here is quantity v. cost . The $9.99 Kids' Little Rooster gets you one rubbery scrambled egg, a piece of bacon, half an English muffin which no child will eat, and a drink which was not delivered. Sounds plenty on paper but reality is very different. The worst offender however is the side of City Grits. $7.99 gets you a side that's smaller than most orders of fries and, while alright, the taste pales in comparison to The Flying Biscuit. If you want a tasty breakfast and Creekside is closed, use the extra cost to go to 5 Points."
