The shrimps were cooked to perfection! So as you can imagine I was eagerly looking forward to them when I ordered them the second time. Boy was I disappointed, what was supposed to steak was mainly pieces of fat! There was hardly any chicken to be found and the overall portion was significantly less. This is not a cheap item. Tacos Tu Madre has been a favorite of mine since I got to LA three years ago. Since then, the portion sizes have decreased dramatically, from whopping burritos that were impossible to finish, now to small, measly burritos where maybe even two are needed to fill you up.
And yet, the prices continue to rise. $10 for a single ahi tuna taco? I mean it's good...but not for those kinds of prices, hence the three stars. The meal in the photo was over $50 (including tip, tax, and delivery. Standard tortilla chip for size) "
