"I have been wanting to try Kimchi Box for a while now and I'm so glad I did. The Popcorn Chicken Box (New) is so delicious, the chicken is crispy and the soy garlic flavor is good. The portion is very good too. The Steamed Pork Dumplings have to be my favorite thing I ordered. The actual dumpling was so soft but not too chewy and the stuffing is flavorful, tender and moist. The sauce with the dumplings was amazing too. Kimchi Box is my new favorite place and I will definitely be eating here again. "

"The Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi Soup) was delicious. The Side Dish (banchan) came with a good portion. The kimchi in it is a little fishy for my taste, and the fish cakes are very fishy compared to other ones I've tried. That depends on your personal preference but I didn't like it. I also didn't realize the Kimchi Jjigae came with rice and ordered an extra side of it. It was cooked as expected, you really go wrong with rice. Overall, I would eat here again. I recommend visiting it in person as well. It's cozy inside, they have korean bbq grills and hot pot burners."

"I was going to rate this 4 stars, but I just got upcharged for substituting Cream Cheese for Cucumbers on the Salmonator roll. So I was charged extra just for asking for a simple substitution. First time a sushi restaurant has ever done that to me. I guess cucumbers are more expensive than cream cheese. Also, though their rolls are good with their sauces, their rice is substandard for sushi. It's barely seasoned, if at all. Sushi rice should be seasoned with a vinegar base. And the reason I wanted cucumbers is for texture. I noticed most of their rolls have none. This means the rolls will be mushy. "

Rainbow Roll was fresh and colorful with large pieces of fish!
California Roll was great for the traditional palate cleanser roll - much bigger than many restaurants I've ordered from.
Dragon Roll was pretty good but a little slimy compared to other restaurants I've ordered from.
Miso House Roll had great flavor but we expected a little more spice for the description.
Flaming Mountain (tempura) was our favorite! So much flavor and the light tempura coating was delicious!
Pork Gyoza was some of the best I've ever had! Hot and full of pork.
Last and unfortunately least was the Crab Rangoon. It's imitation crab guys, why can't there be more in here? The filling was 90%+ cream cheese. Oh well everything else was outstanding! We will definitely order here again!"

If you're used to American Chinese food, then know that this will be much different; it's not a particularly crispy dish and the flavor profile is quite traditional. Expect it to be very heavy on the msg. I was pleased at the inclusion of Sichuan peppercorns, which add an upfront and unique dimension to this dish. The aromatics were a little overdone, but I can excuse that. The Wok Hei alone is evidence that this establishment employs highly skilled chefs. Overall, it's a diverse assortment of quality spices and flavors (some imported) which justifies the price. I wish it had more heat, but that's just my taste lol. Comes with rice."
