I haven't had burgers at this location yet, but their pies are out of this world, like they are at other nations. The PUMPKIN PIE (SLICE) is probably the best pumpkin pie you are going to ever get. My family said the CUSTARD PIE (WHOLE) blows Marie calanders out of the water. The LEMON MERINGUE PIE (WHOLE) was not the best I have ever tasted, but it is the second best! very satisfied family over here. I will be placing a large order for Thanksgiving, and Christmas. "Everything was very good. I ordered the Birria Omelette for myself and the California Omelette for my mom. First thing to talk about because we both had them was the potatoes. The had a firm outside but made the perfect pop when you took a bite, tender inside. They were also a good portion and the seasoning was just right. "I first tried PROTEINHOUSE in Modesto and was blown away. But this location was not nearly as good. I paid extra for avocado on my salmon bowl and the amount they added was minuscule. So tiny. How can they charge for that?
I also paid extra for additional Thai peanut sauce, and there was just a drizzle on top. No extra side, none on the vegetables. Also the sauce was bad- it tasted like peanut honey sauce- far too sweet. It was nothing like I remembered from the other location.
And the salmon in the Build It bowl was burnt. I usually love a nice char, but the taste was truly bitter and overpowering, and ruined the whole bowl. The Cucumber Salad, was a little sad, minimal flavor and didn't seem fresh.
I still rated them "liked it" because the (Kids) Chocolate Monster Shake was really good and less sweet than expected. And because I believe in the concept of this place and want higher quality and healthier restaurant options. I hope this location can get it together because if I had another disappointing meal like this I would not return."
