Pittsburgh definitely has a lot of great options for authentic Chinese cuisine, but this place is the only one that does Americanized Chinese food the right way! (They also have authentic Sichuan as well, so there's really something for everyone.)
Everything was SO good and the portions were HUGE. The SP6. Black Pepper Chicken was absolutely delightful. It's my favorite dish and a lot of places make it spicy for some reason, but How Lee did it perfectly! Also the A5. Crab Rangoon (8 pieces) was literally perfect. This has prob been the hardest dish to find here. Idk why so many places here do cream cheese only crab Rangoon, but How Lee had the perfect sweet cream cheese mixture.
My husband got the Tiger Skin Peppers and he said they were impeccable. They were huge and it came with so many! Our kid got C1. Sweet and Sour Chicken and it was exactly what you expect when you order S&S chicken.
